Control is a wild ride that feels like it combines elements of various genre's and leans on lore inspired by the likes of SCP (Secure Contain Protect: a collection of public domain lore about anomolous objects and entities). I find myself lost in the lore reading up on things that are directly related to the main story, but branch off into other AWE's (Altered World Events). Worth Every Penny. In fact, I'd have preordered it at full price if I'd known it was going to be this good.

I am surprised by how much I loved this game, worth the full $20, and a must buy on sale.

The puzzles are reasoanbly diverse, it always feels like there is a reward for exploring those odd corners of the map and I feel fulfilled when I complete a challenge.

I picked this up on Humble Choice as more of a filler game, but no sooner than I started what would be a 30min play session, I find myself coming back again and again. The gameplay is made of of many layers of mini-games inside the card based layout. Unlocking new challenges and picking cards to assist me in achieving the challenge's reward is invigorating and I'll be keeping an eye out for future releases from this developer.

Although it was not what I expected, the game was enjoyable and feels like it was put together with love despite some rough edges

TL;DR: Best Final Fantasy I've played since Final Fantasy X

Pros:
- Great Story. I literally went to sleep thinking about what happened each day I played (mostly on lunch)
- Side Quests feel fulfilling and not like simple level grinds
- Characters have passive interactions that often seem fresh (there are a couple that repeated and got fairly annoying)
- Combat felt good. I felt like I actually had to worry about strategy sometimes (mostly for side quests though)
- DLC added to story, and had fairly interesting and diverse gameplay.
- Sound Track was nice
- Controls took a little bit of getting used to for Keyboard/Mouse, but worked very well

Cons:
- Main Quests felt under-challenging if you did many of the side-quests
- I found that buying equipment was mostly pointless
- Inability to save in Dungeons
- Upgrading Regalia was more of a quality of life feature than fun
- Was not compelling enough to cause me to immediately start my NewGame+

Wow. That's much of what I can say. Every detail in this game feels like a masterpiece. I feel a rush every time I play it. This is without a doubt, the golden standard of VR and the main reason I bought an Index.

Pros:
- The gravity gloves (on a Valve Index) feel very natural.
- Reloading guns is not a passive action, as you have to take actions specific to each gun in order to reload.
- The environments encourage and reward exploration in a way that makes me excited that I picked up that bucket in the corner.
- Something very unnerving about a head crab lunging at your face.
- I love using the environment against enemies. Each and every environment interact has felt fairly natural.

Cons:
- Can't load individual bullets into partial magazines

The de facto standard for roguelike card games. I have played games made to mimic this and loved them, but Slay the Spire stands out among the others.

Great game, Interesting gameplay and unique as far as game I have played. I wish there were more to the story.

The more I play this game the less I enjoy it. It feels like it has identity issues. The one thing that really shines is the fact that you can approach almost any level/situation however you want. I'd love to go pure stealth, but every time I approach it feels like that path would cause me to miss vital rewards.

TL;DR: Buy it! it's an awesome "floor-is-lava" game with a twist and exciting puzzzles.

I only played the demo (for now) but this game looks to have great potential. the story is engaging and the references to other games are a nice touch. If I hadn't loaded up during the winter sale, this would be a must-buy. The puzzles (at least within the first ~40 min) weren't repetitive, although they did tend to build off of each other providing a nice sense of progression.

Update: I was waiting on this game to end up on Humble Choice (if not a sale) and it did. I feel bad for noy buying it earlier, it was invigorating.
