Absolutely amazing, this game far exceeded my expectations even though I feel it could be so much more. TL;DR Play it!

The portal mechanisms work wonderfully mid-combat to create an extra level of chaos and strategy. But even without that, it would be a solid (but not amazing) FPS. I anticipate this game will only get better over time.

Well worth it for strategy games. Not a good replacement for a mouse in high-speed accuracy dependent environments.

TL;DR Great game with nice Rogue-lite mechanics, good humour and vague stealth elements

Pros:
- Difficult Combat Scenarios often involve running away or strategically locking doors
- Very Humorous.
- Art style reminds me of Futurama
- Tough Choices, choosing to go after fuel or food in place of that much needed upgrade item, or getting the upgrade even though you know you'll starve to death soon just because the next guy can have it
- Failure is only a little punishing
- Variety of Ships
- Great for Short Plays

Cons:
- Stealth is very difficult. Not as in the difficulty of stealth mechanics is high, as much as there are almost no mechanics to support stealth but doing it anyway can be pretty rewarding (might be considered a plus)
- Progression feels too quick. I feel like playing this game 10-20 minutes at a time instead of hours, and yet I feel like I've progressed more than I should

Felt very dated, crashed often (long sequences without opportunity to save as well)

A very goofy yet satisfying hospital management sim. I spent most of the free weekend playing this game, I was only able to unlock the first start of each hospital, but there seems to be much more to unlock and a nice sandbox mode on top. I'm fighting the urge to buy this game.

TL;DR: This game is a stealth focused X-Com (no rubber banding) with a touch of adventure and no base building mechanics and amazing characters.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a tactical adventure game where risks are well rewarded and stealth seems to be the focus of most combat scenarios.

Stealth is Hard.
I've only played in the harder modes where there is no healing outside of combat without using one of the sparse medkits or an ability, but wow. I'm not even that far into the game and I am loving it. Each area seems to offer more challenging enemies and situations where I have to carefull calculate ability cost, crit chance and damage before ambushing a lone enemy (Killing in more than one round or using loud weapons basically brings every mob in hearing distance onto you in a flash). The lower damage that silenced weapons do make this quite challenging as you calculate who to take down and how far out they need to be in order to go silently. Rationing usables such as grenades and smoke bombs or chem flares is exciting.

The Characters are engaging and hilarious.
There are plenty of corny jokes and each characters has a distinct personality that seems well thought out and has depth. Depending on who is in control when, different triggers evoke different responses from your party members. When they are not split up, you can often hear them converse about their plight.

Still love the game. I've been very careful to take my time with Stealth. It gets much harder and at times it becomes an issue of disabling enemies so they cannot call for help and killing them in two rounds. Very Rewarding Story

Just an hour in, and although feels shallow in some ways, the combat is satisfying and it's filled with Lore!
