With it's far-fetched storyline and epic chase scenes, Tomb Raider delivers what it promises essentially. I enjoyed it.

Splendid mix of Paradox style "hardcore" and more casual Civilization style 4k strategy.

There's a lacking graphical options menu, also the engine it runs on seems to be hugely inefficient, on my first playthrough I got around 11 fps late game on huge galaxy, CPU usage being only <30% and gpu usage around 20% as well. I think what limits the framerate is the engines lack of multicore support. This happened during large scale battles etc.

Broforce is a very solid 2D side-scroller. Runs smoothly on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I respect the level of detail as well.
And you gotta love the freedom theme!

FTL is hard and unforgiving, but oh so rewarding. Completing the game was one of the most satisfying moments I've had in a while. That being said, I had couple of moments where I found myself crushed by rng or sometimes by clunky game mechanics. Latter being probably the only negative thing in this game. I've had more than once my crew dying because of clunky movement (you would expect that when you give a move order to a soon to be full room crewmember would go to a one next to it but they stay still instead and on top of that you won't get any feedback from game that your moveorder was invalid)

I would give it 7 or 6 out of 10. If you like Warhammer 40k you'll propably like Dawn of War. Multiplayer gameplay reminds me of company of heroes which is a great RTS. Campaign focuses on few hero units which you upgrade between missions. You can also play campaign as CO-OP with a friend which is quite fun.
More of 40k races wouldn't hurt, like Necrons, Tau or IG for example.

Good old solid turn based tactics. Not perfect by any means but not bad either. I recommend playing with the long war mod.
And remember; don't have a plan for when you hit - have a plan for when you miss.

I felt like the path finding of units and moving them in general just felt too clunky. The game also did not have enough variation to keep me interested.
I can see that if you like the history of american civil war this might be a good buy since there is not much better options out there as far as I know, but I expected a good solid RTS with american civil war theme - and I was disappointed.

Stardew valley is a nice little farm management game. If you like factorio, simcity, prison architect, big pharma, tropico or something along those lines you'll probably like stardew valley.
It's definitely a management game, but you'll find it maybe a bit more relaxed, slow-paced and calm than some of its counterparts. Some people can find it even a bit too slow perhaps, but for me it's just fine.

You can tell that some serious effort and passion went into making this game. From the tiniest graphical detail to the entire arcade minigames in the saloon... I have the utmost respect for the developers who go the extra mile; in todays world when you see more and more games rushed or left incomplete.

For a moment robbing banks with your friends is fun. But then you run out of unlocks, banks and... fun. Fortunately that moment lasted over 20hrs.
