The primary reason I started the Persona series is that the games take place on the streets of Japan, and most of the in-game locations are exact replicas of real-world places. The developer, Atlus, recreated the streets, stations, and even tiny shops, especially in and around Tokyo, with incredible fidelity, which was the biggest selling point for me. When it comes to the games themselves; you might love the style of Persona 5 or the warmth of Persona 4, but you can never forget the bittersweet mark that Persona 3 Reload leaves on your heart. No other piece of media handles the theme of death in such a dark, mature, yet hopeful way. The flawless soundtrack, wonderful character development, especially the heartbreaking scenes of Shinjiro and Chidori, along with the endless loyalty of our faithful companion Koromaru, elevate the tragedy of the story to the skies. On top of that, when you add Aigis' pure devotion behind her words, 'I will protect you no matter what,' this game becomes the absolute best of the series for me. Also, I don't know if anyone can finish that final rooftop scene without crying. It was the most impactful, most meaningful ending in gaming history. It broke my heart into pieces, but it taught me so much. I'm so glad I had the chance to experience it. Absolutely a masterpiece... Remember, you will die one day; so live to the fullest for the bonds you leave behind. MEMENTO MORI.

Persona oyun serilerine başlama sebebim öncelikle oyunlarının Japonya sokaklarında geçiyor olması ve oyundaki mekanların çok büyük bir kısmı gerçek hayattaki yerlerin birebir kopyası. Yapımcı şirket Atlus, özellikle Tokyo ve çevresindeki sokakları, istasyonları, hatta küçük dükkanları bile inanılmaz bir sadakatle oyuna aktarmış bu beni seçim yaparken en çok cezbeden şey olmuştur. Gel gelelim oyundan bahsedecek olursak; Persona 5'in tarzını, Persona 4'ün samimiyetini sevebilirsiniz ama Persona 3 Reload'un kalbinizde bırakacağı o buruk izi asla unutamazsınız. Ölüm temasını bu kadar karanlık, olgun ve aynı zamanda umut dolu işleyen başka bir yapım yok. Kusursuz müzikler, harika karakter gelişimleri; özellikle Shinjiro ve Chidori'nin yürek burkan sahneleri ile sadık dostumuz Koromaru'nun o bitmek bilmeyen vefası hikayenin trajedisini arşa çıkarıyor. Üzerine bir de Aigis'in 'seni her ne pahasına olursa olsun koruyacağım' sözünün arkasındaki o saf sadakat eklenince bu oyun benim için serinin en iyisi haline geliyor. Ayrıca o son çatı sahnesini ağlamadan bitirebilen var mı bilmiyorum. Oyun tarihinin en vurucu, en anlamlı finaliydi. Kalbimi paramparça etti ama bana çok şey kattı. İyi ki deneyimleme şansım olmuş.
