i think i play almost all types of games from strategy, tabletop, vn, rpg, to hardcore action games, fps, etc... i like to experience new things, so even niche games i welcome wholeheartedly if it piques my interest.
i think the only genre i skipped is deckbuilding card games lol. since i'm too lazy to memorize the decks 😂

though it's funny, that i used to hate pvp with a passion. these days i play pvp games regularly. it's a good benchmark to gauge improvement. seeing my rank climb from bottom upward is fun, lol.
i know i'm not the best player, nor do i intend to be, so usually i settled in the mid to high elo.
too lazy to grind more, usually the fun is lost there, either because i have no more friends to play with, or just the grind becomes such a chore.
also i don't have almost unlimited time anymore like in college days, what with work, responsibility and other life things 🤷‍♂️


i did however reached unicum in world of tanks (pc and blitz)
top 10 in division 2 conflict rank (asia)
measly plat in overwatch (started bronze)
still a pleb gold in valorant (started bronze)
diamond damage in overwatch2 (started silver)

at the end of the day, for me, i play games for fun,
so when i cannot experience new things,
when the core gameplay becomes such a grind,
when i cannot see any substantial improvement unless i spend ludicrous time practicing,
when the fun is lost,
then why force yourself to play it?
