The interactions between characters, the revelation of their past secrets, and the way it all unfolds is beautifully done, making this DLC stand out in the entire saga.

The new enemy types require a more strategic approach, offering fresh challenges even for seasoned players. Mechanics reminiscent of dungeon and raid elements make each mission rich and engaging. The challenges on legendary difficulty add extra depth and significance to each battle, making the gameplay even more thrilling. The addition of the new Prismatic class is a standout feature—it’s really cool to build around, offering a wide range of customization options that enhance both your playstyle and the overall combat experience.

The new location, “Pale Heart,” is a masterpiece—its design, secrets, weapons, and missions are all top-notch. The raid is incredibly well-crafted, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience, and the final 12-player mission is nothing short of epic.

For me, The Final Shape was a beautiful ending to the Light and Darkness saga. It’s a fitting conclusion that honors the legacy of the series while also setting the stage for the future. I can highly recommend this DLC to all core Destiny players. It’s a great retirement point if you’re thinking of wrapping up your journey with the game, and it’s also a perfect moment of relaxation after 10 years of epic adventures.
