Easily one of my favorite multiplayer FPS I've played in a long while. Think Halo with faster time-to-kill and add portal mechanics. Check it out if you are someone who has played and enjoyed games like Quake, Halo, Unreal Tournament, or Tribes.

At the time of this review Splitgate averages just over 1000 players online at any given time, certainly enough people to find a match when you're looking for one, but this game deserves to be more popular. There's a ton of game modes both competitive and casual, a solid evolving rotation of unique maps, player-made maps, a healthy roster of satisfying-to-use weapons, and a number of long term achievements and challenges to unlock. The premium currency in the game Splitcoins are given to the player by playing regularly and occasionally through the free battle pass, after a few months you could save up enough Splitcoin to buy the premium battle pass without paying real money which itself includes some Splitcoin as rewards.

tl;dr Overall Splitgate is a fast-paced shooter with solid gameplay, great optimization, fun maps, a variety of gamemodes, as well as a fair free-to-play model. I recommend it!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance has got to be one of my favorite open world RPGs of all time. If you are at all a history buff, enjoy realistic medieval themed games and don't mind a bit of a challenge you owe it to yourself to pick this one up.

The story is really engaging and gives you a good reason to keep coming back. The fact that many of the major characters in the game are based on real people in history makes it easy to become immersed and feel that your character is surrounded by important events.

The combat system is great once you get used to it and learn some special abilities. Remember, your character is the son of a blacksmith so you will suck at swinging a blade at first. Do yourself a favor and train with Captain Bernard in Rattay early and often, learn to perfect block and riposte and you will be able to hold your own. There is no crosshair while you are using the bow either which can be a challenge, but adds to the realism and make it rewarding when you hit a shot just right.

All of the non-combat skills in the game are interesting in their own way and help bring you deeper into the world. You maintain your sword by manually operating a grindstone. You do alchemy by working at the bench and operating all the tools. Bonus points for the fact that this is the first game I've played where lockpicking is not annoying.

There are a lot of small things to appreciate in the game outside of these main elements you will have to discover by playing yourself. All-in-all this game has been a pretty immersive escape of an open world game that has made me want to explore everything it has to offer. Good stuff.

Amazing. A great tribute and twist on an FPS classic. It pushes the Source engine to its limit. I recommend it.

Look, I really want to recommend RAGE 2. I found this game to be a fast paced, run-and-gun, in-your-face shooter with some fun open world elements and a considerable amount of content even when you exclude the DLC. The story was not all that interesting but in my experience the gameplay and mechanics were enough to carry the game. I felt that most of the qualms I heard about the game before getting it were largely unfounded. All-in-all I was willing to recommend this game as a pleasant surprise, and a solid purchase to get on sale.

So what happened? I couldn't finish it. Not like "I couldn't bring myself" to finish it, but it was literally impossible to start the final main scenario mission due to a game breaking glitch. Apparently, there has existed a bug since release that does not allow the player to initiate the 'Project Dagger' mission despite meeting all the requirements. I have tried all the suggested fixes I could stand to look up to no avail, so I am stuck.

Perhaps this serious bug will be addressed and I can reinstall, finish the game, and turn this review around to a thumbs up. Until then however, I cannot recommend this game. You would be better off spending your money on another open world shooter where you can be sure you can finish it.

I never played this game when it was new, I picked it up with the Quakecon pack back in 2012 and never touched it until this week. I gotta say it holds up really well in 2020 if you install a simple mod that allows the game to be played at your monitor's native resolution.

Non-stop action, interesting level design with secrets to discover, nice graphics for an idTech3 game, and a good amount of unique, varied weapons and enemies. The campaign is rather short (took me between 4-5 hours to complete) and the final boss is kinda weak, but overall if you like classic FPS games this is one you cannot skip. I'm glad I decided to play it on a whim 8 years after adding it to my library. Try it out.

Absolutely I would recommend Blender. It's the best piece of free and open-source software out there hands down.

What was once an affordable (as in free) learning tool and springboard to 3D modeling in industry standard software is now itself being partially adopted and financially supported by industry giants. There's no better time to get in and start blending, you've got nothing to lose.

An excellent all-around FPS game. It fits squarely in the middle between Call of Duty and Squad/Arma in terms of arcade vs. realistic gameplay. The game carves a niche for those looking for a tactical shooter that does not push too hard in either direction.

As a long time player of the 2014 Insurgency it still very much feels like the same Insurgency I've grown accustomed to, just expanded. The same hilarious candid moments, the same ridiculous community and the same quick but deliberate action is still there. The new mechanics of jumping through windows, busting/opening/peeking through doors and using gun-mounted vehicles are all welcome additons that add an extra element of fun. The elements that are missing from Insurgency (2014) such as mod-support, night maps, and other features are coming soon.

The game is still rough around the edges in its current state but I can definitely recommend it. Understand that you will need some nice hardware to run the game with decent settings in the state it's in right now. The developers have released numerous significant updates through beta and after release, so there is reason to believe optimization and bugs will get better going forward. Definitely worth checking out.

I really wish I could recommend TOXIKK. It's part of a genre of games that I really enjoy—the good ol' FPS arena shooter. It feels, though, like playing an unthought mish-mash of games past.

The characters and weapons are designed and animated beautifully, overall the graphic fidelity is pretty great, but the game lacks character and inspired level design that is a trademark of intense, fast paced arena shooters.

The game is fun at first, but somehow feels ordinary after you've played a few matches. In an oversaturated FPS game market this game doesn't hold enough to stand out, it doesn't carve out a niche but instead follows in the footsteps of games before it, and stumble a bit in this path.

You almost wish TOXIKK had something that surprised you after playing it some. Maybe a weapon that wasn't in some way directly inspired by weapons from other arena shooters. Maybe a map that is super fun and well balanced. There wasn't something I could point and go "Yeah, this is why I like TOXIKK over [insert other arena shooter here]."

The lack of a unique product is probably why the game's community is close to none. It is also likely the reason why the devs released a free-to-play version of the game some time after its launch. It's too bad too...I think with a little extra love and some work between the developers and the game's community TOXIKK could end up being something really fantastic that helps bring in a new generation into the world of arena shooters.

Beauty is in its simplicity.

Really a treat to play for anyone who enjoys games that are easy to learn and hard to master. Lots of fun dueling friends in local multiplayer. The arcade mode has a good level of difficulty and each AI opponent utilizes a different strategy to try to defeat you. Give it a shot!

A pretty fun game overall. Still has a more navigable building system than Lego Worlds, the game that could ultimately be its successor if more work was put into it.

The community is small now, so buy it with some friends if you can and free build online together. If you're looking for people online to play with...join one of the couple prison break/RP servers that are usually the most active at the top of the server list.

Blockland always has a special place in my memory banks having played it back when they used Lego branding in it and there wasn't many other games like it that allowed such open creativity and building in the mid 2000's.

Today it is a bit shoved under the rug with more popular and more often updated survival/building games available on the market, but it still remains a solid title that you should not overlook if you liked playing with Legos as a kid or simply enjoy a good multiplayer building game.
