Thought this game would be a lot better than what it turned out to be. Completely dead game.

I don't find this game as fun playing alone but with friends, it turns the game around big time! The movement in this game is pretty slow as in animations of crouching to prone to crouching. You're basically going to take a lot of damage or die while being stuck inside of the animation and wish it was a bit quicker. I do like how the game actually added more of a purpose to playing this game with the ranking system and challenges.

Character movement is sloppy, story missions are short, online is dead. Game Crashes here and there.. Insurgency is waaaay better.

The first Insurgency was WAAAAAAAAAAAY better.

AI on this game are complete brain dead and one of the worst helping AI I've ever had on any game I've came across. Not to mention, the special infected goes after me instead of the AI first and doesn't spread out to the clueless AI.. Got a smoker that drags me, get released.. then a jockey rides the head... and another 3 smoker's grabs 3 of us while another jockey rides the 4th AI (Survival).. But an achievement to stay alive for 30+ minutes... lmfao yeah right... developers are smoking some weird stuff to even think of 30+ min on any survival map is even fun at all. The most stressful, annoying achievement a developer can add and I'm assuming they added these "extra" achievements cause people weren't playing this old boring game anymore.. Back 4 Blood is 10x better and AI on that game at least can help save you quicker and they help out on mowing down zombies better

Story line is great to run with friends but besides that everything else goes downhill from there. Playing on Recruit difficulty feels like playing on normal or hard depending on your skill level. Definitely is a challenging game but WAY too challenging and sweaty. Has constant Ridden/specials (zombies) spawning while their health is stronger due to the game mechanics of the developers giving them the card boost which shouldn't be on Recruit in my opinion at least. Should only determine that part on higher difficulties for the better skilled players that WANT that challenge to take on.
This game is buggy as well to where certain missions, your character is stuck in slow motion and can't sprint, can only "speed walk" until the next checkpoint.
The whole card system for this game is really grindy as well so honestly have to make a complete deck to help benefit yourself which is why I still return to "left for dead" series cause it's just a basic zombie survival game getting through the missions to escape which I enjoy way more than this card system for this game which makes this game more difficult.

I really loved the animation of doing stealth melee kills and take downs!! The story was pretty fun to go through and witness each level on "I am death incarnate!" difficulty as my first play through. It was challenging on a few parts since you are limited to 50 health but can still boost your health over 50 if you find extra health. I hate how slow it is to climb a ladder, there was a few situations, i had that i was either reloading or just trying to get away from the enemies and i climb a ladder, the enemies get a free kill since the animation of grabbing the ladder and slowly moving up it. Not to mention.. Where is LEVEL SELECTION AT!? I am really disappointed that the developers left level selection out after beating the game and no i am not talking about playing the "Enigma Code Missions to replay or the Combat Simulation" I am talking about actually replaying a campaign level and grabbing those left over achievements that you missed during your first playthrough.. so now i have to replay the story just to grab the few achievements that i missed since there is no way of replaying the actual story mission. I dislike how the developers brought Mein Leben difficulty into the game to where you only have one life and to start all over in the beginning if you die since i am an achievement player and seeing this achievement i honestly don't even want to give it a try knowing on some parts of the story it could be very difficult and having to play the right cards just to get through the level. Also, having to do it in one sitting and not be able to save and come back to it later on.. WAY TOO MANY COLLECTIBLES TOO!

This game wasn't bad for under $1. The developers should have at least added a way to edit the default controls on keybinding since i did not like having to press the "number keys" to switch my weapons and also "Right Click" to kick. I felt the Kicking was stronger than using the Bat so i felt using the baseball bat was useless. This game would be better if there was a zoom in button to aim down the sights of your weapon and also a SNIPER for the slow aliens haha! But also i don't know if it's just me or everyone else but when shooting an alien, the accuracy was off with the cursor, i felt moving the cursor to the left of the alien that it would actually hit them and not really leaving the cursor on their body; half the time i left the cursor on the body, it wouldn't even hit the alien.. other then that it was fun!

The game is fun with friends but playing it alone in coop with random players is not as much fun since there is no game chat or voice to communicate but i guess that is where the versus comes in at with the point system but also the game is VERY SHORT! I also hate how my resolution can play on 2560 x 1440 but 1920 x 1080 is the highest resolution and the graphics can honestly be WAY better but i mean for a basic horror game it's not too bad!

This is by far one of my most favorite zombie games of all time! I recommend this game to anyone that is a big fan of zombie games and also it's even better to play coop with friends!
