Decided to come back to the game after watching the Fallout series, as many others have as well. The next gen update effectively crippled the playability. On a 3080ti I had my fps capped at 20 and nothing I could do was fixing the issue. I rolled back the update to pre-next gen and that issue was immediately fixed with all of the mods I used to use working as well.

TL;DR: "NextGen update" is trash. Roll it back to actually be able to play the game.

Giving it a negative review just for that.

Feels like Forza Horizons 4, but more 'meh' in every regard.

If you liked FH4 you'll most likely enjoy this game, it's fairly fun and the visuals are great, but the economy is completely jacked. It's the Far Cry 5 or Forza games... I don't have much more to say about it, it's just whelming across the board. If you want a clone of FH4 with slightly newer cars, go for it. If you want to save some money, just keep playing FH4.

Only writing this for the 2018 Steam Autumn sale badge thing. But because of that I'm going to say why I nominated it for the best environment award. I nominated it because the evnironments are absolutely stunning, the gameplay is pretty much the same as Far Cry 3/4, but with a less generic story. If you have ever had a bloodlust for killing cult members in a beautiful northern US environment, look no further than FC5.

Hitman.. You can hit men. You can hit them in multiple ways, you can hit them with a pipe, you can hit them with a brick. You can hit them in the dark, you can hit them in a park.

10/10 would hit again.

Don't buy it unless you want to pray to RNGesus on a daily basis to gain permits and faction levels.

War Thunder used to be an amazing WWII multiplayer pseudo-sim game. While I will say the models and sounds of the vehicles and weapons are rather beautiful (minus the new placeholders for bomber cockpits), the balancing of the vehicles is beyond repair. Each patch they end up nerfing some part of Germany while finding a way to buff RU/US/UK. There is so much I could say about this game, but the game is't even worth my time to give it a lengthy review. #RussianBiasSimulator

Edit (2.9.2019): I have put entirely too many hours into this game and I don't know why. It seems like every mechanic of this game is broken, especially the matchmaking. I have come to the conclusion that if you are even a slightly above average player the game thinks you're god tier and places you against the esport clans that will curb stomp you into yesterday while camping your spawn, and Gaijin's response is "It's part of the experience". I still do not recommend this game

Edit (9.27.2019): The game has devolved to the point where you can get spawn killed at what is literally your initial spawn because they don't know how to balance anything. It has become a 100% p2w ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of what I have a hard time calling a game. If I could give them multiple negative reviews I could.

A terribly optimised pathetic excuse for a game. Just reinforces the idea that Rockstar doesn't care about the PC world anymore.

Load up the game: Crash
Load up custom radio: micro-stutter
Drive too fast: driving on air
Auto-save on GTA Online: Server disconnection

On the plus side, Rockstar censored their name on the in-game chat so you don't have to read their name.
