Price tag sets expectations, and this is not worth the price.
The only content worth noting is the sound track, revamped quest is just there, royal title require some grind to be functional.
The DLC content is near non-existent in the early game, and psychic power is rather lackluster.

Mods do some things much better than this DLC, feel free to skip this.

Atmosphere is great, but almost nothing else is. Just refunded.

-Very awkward keybind, who thought it's a good idea to use wasd for camera control? Camera speed is too slow.
-I bought this game expecting storytelling, not a ton of brain dead minigames that are not fun, heavily reliant on short-term memory
-Too little information on the UI, it's hard navigating inside the station, it became 10x worse when outside, when every space module looks the same
-The character is more robotic than the actual AI, seems to have only one line for each instruction

+Solid gameplay
+Decent optimisation

-Timed exclusive
-Very bad writing, both on dialogue and story
-Awful matchmaking, no lobby browser
-Humour is non-existent, cringe-worthy
-Where's text chat?
-Skill/Grenade, Emote wheel are in discount console format
-The main antagonists are the worst I've seen in recent years, I miss Jack.

Good game bad optimisation. This is a game that can make Obsidian looks bug-free.
Interesting mix of traditional RPG and management.
Sometimes quest objectives are not explained clearly, had to rely on search engine.
Other times quests are completely bugged, unable to progress.
Balancing is also problematic, some of the latter chapters have enemy encounter spam CC.
The belt system is plain bad and time consuming.
Some of the map mechanics are not explained well, wasted a lot of time on one certain map.
Respec makes you going through the level up tab level by level, it needs improving.
Not enough quickslots.
Consistent audio bugs.

Worth buying on a sale.

Also ending:
>be me
>chaotic evil
>meets big bad
>proceed to beat big bad
>want to kill big bad
>big bad: how about you dont
>big bad leaves
>me: surprised pikachu

Top tier story-telling with great humour.
The action sequence and the music can be a bit cringy, but it is tolerable.
Puzzle section is mostly trial and error, but can be interesting.
I did not find any plot hole, how the story unwinded is great.
Would strongly recommend to weebs, mystery lovers, and point-and-click adventure game enthusiasts.

Never played any entries in the series, this is the first one.
As a third person shooter, it's great. As a console seller? Steaming hot garbage.

+Well optimised, ran smooth enough for me.
+Graphic is great.
+Shooting feels weighty and comfortable.
+Great accessibility, not many games do that anymore.

-My first hour of the game: 15 minutes of unskippable tutorial and 45 minutes of infinite loading into Act 1, due to servers acting up.
-The "Previously on Gears 4" made zero effort in introducing the world setting, instead focusing on story arcs of the main characters. It told me nothing of the different factions that are introduced in this game.
-Tried to played horde mode and escape mode, spent 30 minutes in infinite loading and queueing, then gave up.
-The pseudo-openworld formula of Act 2 and Act 3 is horrible, there is almost nothing interesting going on between points of interests that work as side quests locations, all you get is filler dialogues.
-The color palette of the locale is eye-melting, Act 2 is white, Act 3 is brown.
-Game breaking bug in Act 3, after the delivering beacon in the main quest, npc does not acknowledge you picking up the barrier upgrade, blocking quest progression, tried reloading three times from checkpoint, to no avail. And yes, I'm stuck here.
-And microtransactions, why is it here?

Gameplay is fun, stealth system is working fine, rat swarms are cool.

But,

The game has some serious pacing issues, think Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, they both started as a thrilling and intriguing experience, but at the last quarter of the story, it turns into one giant supernatural power battle. excuse me wtf?

Many side characters aren't that developed, and are discarded in the most stupid way possible.
Turning your back on the enemy, really?

The main characters are also not that likeable, the female protagonist is okay, however Hugo is pure pain to be with. He is simply an annoyance in the first few chapters, and proceeded to become a even bigger nuisance. I don't know about others, but I do love a more cooperative partner in game. I very much enjoy seeing Hugo gets eaten by rats

The main villain is also retarded, he's the basically Albert Wesker Mk.2 with rats. And what's with that final boss battle, are we making oreos?

The game has some good ideas and all.
But the amount of filler support tickets can get really really repetitive after 30 days.
You can get stuck easily with non-filler tickets, not knowing what to reply.

Interesting concept but way too much filler.
