Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™ is the sequel to the original and critically acclaimed Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™ and is also the game where they brought out the Nemesis system, a system so good that every little thing you do to an orc is widely remembered, set one on fire, he comes back looking like a roasted chook and threatening to burn you up like you did him, wraith kill a guy? he comes back with ghost face and wraith eyes and swears to end you ten times over, and that was just the first one, in Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™ they vastly improved this, now orcs come back with completely new looks, abilities and even dialogues from those memories, and the best way to describe this is with a story that happened from my experiences of Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™:

I met a normal orc when i was on my way to killing a warchief by the name of Kuth the Beheader, now Kuth was a nobody, some orc that thought he was the most powerful thing ever to crawl out of a spawning pool, and he wanted to take the baddest undead mofo in the land. Now the fight itself was a little tough (on nemesis difficulty) but his advantage was that he was a commander orc and could summon banners and troops that fought really well, but on his own, he was utterly useless (though he didn't think so), and after about a 5 minute duel with him and his comrades Kuth finally was brought to his knees, but not by me... For as we were fighting a small group of spiders had wandered over to our fight and happen to jump on good ol Kuth's back and poison him, and he fell infront of me. I shrugged, took my new sword and moved on.
Some time had passed and i had never thought of good ol Kuth again, that was until i was in the middle of taking out an outpost commander, and just as the commander was about to spawn he appeared, but no longer as Kuth the Beheader, but Kuth of the Blight. At first he was unrecognisable, his face was mangled and decaying, his stomach and shoulder was oozing green poison and bloated from the rot, and instead of looking like a roman officer he now looked like some cultist accolyte that had been blessed by the lord of decay himself, It wasn't until he spoke, and asked me to remember our duel that i finally remembered, this was that meh orc that i had disregarded and not thought twice about, and he was back, and much more improved. He was still a commander and summoned troops automatically, and i thought "pfft, this song and dance? this will be over soon" and sure enough i had eliminated his men for the first time and was after Kuth, who then laughed at me and proceeded to throw poisonous bombs that had massive arcs everywhere, to top it off whilst i was busy fighting Kuth's boys he had been planting poison mines everywhere as well, so every second step i took was a cloud of green and noxious gas coming at me, and even when i had finally made it to Kuth himself he was actually a damn good fighter, now a savage instead of a normal fighter he was weilding two poisonous axes that he attacked really well with, after a good 20 minute fight with Kuth i had realised that Kuth had come back because he was no longer the little pushover that thought he was something, he ACTUALLY BECAME SOMEONE and he was devestating, a true force to be reckoned with. After our 20 minute bout i had decided not to kill the new Blight lord and instead gave him the honor of becoming one of my most feared and respected commanders, and he accepted these terms. To this Day Kuth leads one of my most well guarded fortresses, the Blight Lord now rules atop his poisonous throne with a decaying fist.

THAT is why i recommend this game, and sure this game isn't perfect and it even has some negatives (talkin' about you Mr. Lootbox system) but all in all i have never enjoyed a game based on one merit alone, and the nemesis system has, and always will be, that one merit that i cherish and admire in a video game.
