I’ve had Fable Anniversary on my wishlist for a long time, and I finally picked it up recently. After putting some real time into it, I get why people still talk about this game. It’s genuinely enjoyable even all these years later. The charm, the choices, and the world still hold up. It doesn’t feel like some outdated relic you’re forcing yourself through for nostalgia. It actually plays well, and there’s something about its simplicity that modern games overcomplicate.

It’s aged like fine wine. Not perfect, but still very easy to get lost in.

Now I’m even more excited for the new Fable. If they manage to keep what made this one special while modernizing it properly, it could be something great.

Great game, it was great when it was released ages ago, but i cant recommend people purchase it cuz greedy Microsoft re-releases old games from licences they own now made in times when devs actually knew how to develop games but refuse to fix bugs. Game will crash on many ocassions, a few examples are Randomly on TPing back to guild of heroes, upgrading skills since the skill videos are buged, and many more. There are some work arounds but man why the f... do i have to pay for a game then search for work arounds...
