Welcome to Challenge Archive, here you can find links to all 200 Community Challenges that we have done over the past 4 years. While you won't score medal points anymore, you can still try them just for fun. So If you're ever in the mood for a good challenge feel free to try some and share your runs down below.

Challenge #3: Denounced Explorers
This one really set the tone for how creative and difficult the challenges could be and would become, and was used for inspiration multiple times after the PI group took over organising the challenges. Its rules of avoiding Status at all cost is probably even more challenging today after all the updates and expansions than it was back then

Challenge #79: Arms Race
A simple challenge about engineer stacking. While not very difficult there are still plenty of strategies to pick. It is also one of my favourite stories, basically describing how a robot wars type of battle would play out between Wang-Yu and Earl Shanty.

Challenge #81: Bia's Boss Quarrel
A great one to start with if you are new to Community challenges, as it has a simple scoring system while remaining interesting. It was built around Bia's strengths as captain, giving her some much-deserved limelight after generally being ignored for previous challenges. It also happens to be a PI favourite for many reasons, and was one of the more popular challenges we did. Why not give it a go yourself

Challenge #115: The Time Machine
A three part set that even required help from the monks to even be possible, in it we travel back in time to the first (released) version of Renowned Explorers. Experience what the game used to be like, with totally different research trees, items, captain abilities, Anna at argueably her most powerful, and more. But time travel is not without risks, so be ready if you do decide to try this one

Challenge #120: Doing it wrong!
This challenge is a little bit different, in that the usual strategies get you punished. You'll have to mix things up, it's time to do it wrong! or as Jan-Piet called it, "Differently". This one is a bit more out there, but I found it nice because it wasn't just about scoring to the max, but trying to stay within boundaries

Challenge #134: Entourage Appreciation Day
Probably the most ambitious challenge I've ever put together. In the challenge every specialist has a request you can fulfil for extra points, and planning out who you recruit and which requests you can complete was perhaps more important than general Renown scoring skill. A great challenge to try out if you like the planning and theory-crafting aspects of the game and the challenges

Like I said, I didn't remember how much I love this game until I upheld my vow to participate in Challenge #200. I really wish I participated in the challenges while they were still active but this is the next best thing. Also I just like playing them in order.
