Its free, beautifully done, good voice acting, and a few really interesting new puzzle elements. Only fault I can give this thing is that it's easy and a bit short. If you played portal 1 and 2 (which you should as this is a prequel to those games), you can shoot through this game in 4 hours.

Jank as hell on modern hardware. If you look at this game funny it will crash or will display weird, and don't you even think of having high resolution or widescreen support.

Its a classic game that definitely shows its age not only in the graphics but also the mechanics

Just not quite there as a deus ex game, at least not at full retail price of 30 dollars.

The game lacks the globetrotting feeling of human revolution and the first Deus Ex. You spend most of your time just walking between a few districts in prague, and the city itself doesn't feel that deep. Much of the areas feel like a backdrop, with unaccessible doors and obvious player boundaries.

I'll give credit, the combat and augs are much more fleshed out. Combat is satisfying, the weapons have impact, and the upgrades give you the chance to have a varied arsenal. Ditto for the augs, although I didn't really dive deep into the experimental augs

I think the main problem with the game is that it just feels unfinished. There isn't a whole lot of content here and the story just seems to end out of nowhere. You're in the middle of a mission, then you beat a boss and that's it. Credits roll. It's as if they were setting up a sequel or DLC that never came. I did almost every side mission and messed around a lot and I beat this game in 20 hours, that just feels like a poor value for 30 dollars.

Is it a BAD game? No. Is it a game worth 30 dollars? Nah. I bought it for 5 bucks and for that money I had my fun

Fantastic game for anyone who likes destroying things in a sandbox or campaign-challenge environment. The campaign is fun, with varied and fair challenges. Sandbox is pretty limitless, especially when you throw mods into the mix. Great buy at 20 bucks.

Too repetitve and too open-worldey for my tastes. A lot of the small villages and settlements simply aren't that interesting and the military locations can be annoyingly complex (also ♥♥♥♥ sam sites). The missions aren't very fun, with a lot of it just being protecting dumb friendly AI against dumb enemy AI. The challenges (racing, shooting, destruction) range from absolutely boring to somewhat fun but they are tied to the upgrade system so this guarantees that you either dont get upgrades or sit through boring challenges to do so.

Just all around perfectly mediocre. A good game to buy for a couple of bucks and get some dumb fun out of. But otherwise not very life changing

Not bad but just nothing to really write home about. Playing as a cop is pretty cool but the rubber banding and AI is so blatant that it isn't really fun to smash the racer's cars. A lot of the cars feel really samey due to the tap to drift system, and the world isn't really varied. I would say just buy burnout paradise over this, or get EA play for a month and play this game only if you have a particular police pursuit itch that needs to be scratched.

Narrative is very portal esque but the core gameplay is a pretty neat twist on the talos principle. Only downside is that it is relatively short and many puzzles are a bit too easy. Get it on sale, couple bucks and you will be fine

Mixed bag. Performance issues had me turn this down to ps2 mode and the game looked real bad, with pop ins and low res textures everywhere. As for the gameplay? It's alright. A lot of it reminds me of NFS underground 2, especially the customization and slow upgrading of cars. I gotta say though this game is just too easy during day time and too hard during night time. AI racers are slow once you get ahead of them and AI cops have vehicles made out of kevlar.

All in all, it doesn't do anything particularly revolutionary. If you want NFS underground 2 with weak cop mechanics, buy this

Something about this game just strikes me as classic EA. Take an existing franchise that is a cult classic and "remake" it but keep none of the original elements of the game that made it engrossing. Car customization is uninteresting, the whole "work your way up the top 10" is stupid when I am not defeating people but earning more cars, and every car handles the same. 30 minutes in and I simply couldn't be bothered. This feels like burnout paradise but with cops but also without crashing.

Milquetoast

Surprisingly decent single player campaign, as well as a really good PC port. Frame rates are excellent on ultra on a larger monitor, and the FOV slider actually works with no trickery or outside programs. I'll give EA credit for this one, they actually made a somewhat decent game.
