Game shows promise but as of right now it's EXTREMELY unoptimized and buggy to the point of almost being unplayable, I'd wait a while before buying this unless you want to support the devs.

VERY good game so far, a few bugs here and there but that's to be expected of an Early Access, the AI is good but could be a bit better, there's not a lot of content right now but as I said, it's not even an official release yet, the graphics is fantastic and the game generally runs really well above 100 fps on the highest settings (1080p, build in profile) with a few expected frame drops and freezes (rare) here and there, nothing to really complain about on that.

So far I really love the game, it's the perfect successor to Swat 4, which I had been waiting for for God knows how long..

Now on the side of content, I believe these are on the way but just to be sure I'm gonna put them here:

- A way to quickly swap between different loadouts, it's a bit tiring to have to change the loadouts for every team member every mission, would be good if you could create some and save them.

- The ability to sprint, sometimes the walking speed is just too slow for some situations and I don't know, it might be just me, but I feel like it'd be a good addition.

- More attachments, everyone loves attachments, especially scopes, would be great if there were some magnified scopes too, possibly in addition to maps with bigger engagement distances.

All in all, content and polishing is all this game needs right now to be absolutely perfect, it almost already is, which in 2021 is surprising.

10/10 (Thanks to my friend Kaho for gifting me the game <3)

Simply put,
this game is AWESOME.

In an age where most games come out with terrible optimization and quality control, filled with bugs and barely playable, this game is a breath of fresh air. Of course it's not perfect but in my almost 20 hours in 3 days I've not found a single major bug. It really shows what five motivated people (devs) can do.

For it's age this game is FANTASTIC, it's not even lacking in content really, in 20 hours I might have gotten about a third through the tech tree which is pretty good for something that came out 2 months ago.

The modding community is also already hard at work on it and even though the game doesn't officially support mods installing them is so easy.

Honestly I could not recommend this game enough to anybody who's looking for a GOOD survival game that can be played for once.

Would be cool if there was a gamemode where the objective is the complete elimination of the enemies unit production instead of the commander killing.
Right now it can end very fast, especially against the ai if you know the commanders location, just lob a couple nukes and chances are you're going to kill it.

Otherwise, awesome game 10/10

Best VR game hands down.
Easy to get into but extremely hard to master.

I don't recommend buying the DLCs unless you want to support the devs, the mapping community does a much better job for free.

Awesome game, able to make you spend hundreds or thousands of hours in it. Totally recommended.

It's kinda hard to learn how to play but by looking at youtube tutorials and all that you can get a fairly solid grasp of the mechanics in about 50 hours.

There's A LOT of mods for this game, many focusing on improving the main objective of this game which is space exploration, some bringing the meta to a completely different place such as BD Armory (fav mod) which adds realistic weapons with which you're able to create AI battles... don't expect the game to excel at this since... you know.. it wasn't meant for it but in my opinion it still is a really good addition creating a very unique experience.

Love the game, the servers can be improved but they're working on it and for the most part they're playable by just switching regions when yours don't work.

Some tasks get boring after a while since they're so common, such as the cable connecting one but other than that they're fine and I can expect to play the game at least for 20 hours without getting bored, playing solo is ok but with friends it's a completely different experience, it's a singular feeling to get backstabbed by your friend whom you trusted for the last 10 minutes.

The community is...interesting, I'd say it's a 50/50 between cool and toxic and stupid enough to make you leave the game, there's also some fairly big issues with trolls who just call a vote and then leave or with teamers but I don't think there's a real solution to that other than hoping to have a good host.

Overall for the price it's really worth it, if you don't wanna pay there's always the option to play on mobile, you lose nothing.

I don't understand how you can spend so much time on a game without doing anything but talking with strangers.

If gmod, battlefield and skyrim had a baby that's what it would look like.

-Lead dev is an utterly incompetent, proud ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which knows no wrong.

-The community is toxic as no other.

-There are barely any updates and whenever one is released (every 6 months or so) it doesn't have any good content and simply makes the game worse.

-The moderators on *official servers* are power hungry no lifers which literally ban you for simply not playing the game the way they want you to (staying in spawn without actively playing the objectives or tryharding is bannable if you find the right mod online). Don't get me started on the official discord server..

-The game is dead, there are about 2000 people online at peak times and the matchmaking is so bad you *always* get put in a dead lobby if you play Frontline or Invasion gamemodes.

- Don't even bother with any ranked mode as they are pretty much completely dead and it often takes more than 20 minutes to find a game.

- The combat keeps getting ruined by the devs because they listen to footlickers with 50 hours in the game who barely know how to parry a swing, this actively ruins the combat for everyone and leads to even more exploits as the old ones are "fixed".

- The performance on Official servers is terrible, with my specs (look on my profile) I get barely 80 fps and constant stutters at THE LOWEST POSSIBLE SETTINGS with barely anybody online (anything over 10 people on official becomes unplayable). I get 160/250 fps on community servers with 64 people online.

- Other than cosmetics the game lacks content so hard, there are 2 main gamemodes which are decent but similar, a now terrible attempt at an horde mode (the AI sucks and the game forces you to abuse pathfinding exploits against them since having real fights against big numbers of AI invariably leads to certain death) and 2 ranked modes that only tryhards and noobs play, for a while at least, before uninstalling the game. The weapons act all in the same exact way and the only difference between them is damage, speed and reach.

And more...

You judge whether this sounds worth over 20$ or not.
