This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. If you need to be constantly balancing on a razor's edge to feel anything, try real life. If you want to enjoy a game where you cruise the galaxy and find cool things, this isn't for you. If you want to go around desperate to steal a pair of pants so you stop having frostbite, in space, somehow, you play this.

Ever want to be frustrated and bored, but not because you're at work, or commuting, or having to do taxes? This is that emotion, but you're inflicting it on yourself.

Pretty good if you like dungeon keeper.

Another entry in the early access cancer that is killing video gaming in TYOOL2016. "emergent gameplay" means the developers do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ while players make their own fun.

I'd love to write a review, however it also likes to crash every time I try to finish the final encounter. ♥♥♥♥ you Firaxis.

Bought it on release, it was a buggy load of crap. Constant crashes and regular texture glitches. A year later they've patched out those bugs. I give it another shot. This game is still ass. Go play X3: AP if you want to play a X game. Restricting you to one ship with a single gun is stupid, their stupid npc conversation system is stupid, their voice acting is grating awful and repetitive. Veterans of X-series games knew they categorized ships based on a designation (m5 for scouts for instance) why they decided to remove these designations then force the player to basically read their horribly voiced over encyclopedia for HOURS before they can even make a desicion on what they can or cannot engage, rather than just having it be obvious due to designations.

It's good only if you know 4 people who aren't bad at the game.

Else it's full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who can't have the bar set low enough for them.
