It's one of the best coop games of all time, I'd highly recommend anyone who is interested in these kinds of games to pick it up.

This game is a monumental disappointment, not because it's not fun, but because it is.

GBO2 provides a particularly unique gameplay experience, nothing that readily comes to mind plays in the same way it does. For fans of class based shooters this is a game with nearly 400 different Mobile Suits that all operate in different ways, keeping the experience fresh for hundreds of hours. Another fanbase that would find themselves enthralled in this game are those that enjoy fighting games, as it's weapon rotation focus feels very similar to what you'd expect with memorizing combos in Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. The game not only requires rote memorization of your rotation as well as the ability to improvise on the spot, just like fighting games do.

As far as the Gacha is concerned, the game suffers from power creep just like virtually any of the modern games with a similar content formula like War Thunder, but the importance of teamwork mean that even some of the genuinely overpowered suits still lose all the time if the team they're on aren't playing well. Because of the massive variety of Mobile Suits, the game actually gives plenty of options for new F2P players to experiment with different suits, giving dozens of free suits out that allows someone to really understand what the game is like without spending a dime. If you play for an hour or two a day you can complete all daily challenges as well, allowing you to accrue a decent amount of premium currency every month. Is it perfectly balanced for free players? Absolutely not, but it's allot more generous than plenty of the other alternatives, and as far as gacha's are concerned I'd say it's towards the very top.

It genuinely is a pleasure to play when everything works as it should, but that's the principal problem.

This game has what can at it's most charitable be described as one of the worst matchmaking systems I've ever seen in a multiplayer only product. From poor design choices to outright repeated connections failures, this game has every desync you've ever experienced plus queue's the length you've only ever seen in the most popular MMO's. For every minute I spend in a round piloting my MS I spend 3-5 sitting in the queue hoping it won't disconnect me. If I decide to spend on hour on this game then I'm lucky if I get two 10 minute matches, let alone matches where the peer to peer connection runs smoothly. It's tragic how they handle partying with friends as well, with it exceptionally difficult to find lobbies if you're playing with more than one friend due to the game requiring all matches having parties of equivalent size on both teams, even in Quickmatch. It also sorts by rating as well in Quickmatch, further diluting the availability of players in a mode that should be purely connection based, especially in a game with no dedicated servers.

All in all I am truly saddened by the wasted potential of GBO2, given the proper resources needed to correct the unacceptable matchmaking issues I genuinely think this game could have found a strong audience on PC, as opposed to the few thousand players who log in every day. It's unique gameplay make it a refreshing standout among the rest of the free to play crowd, and I can only hope one day Bandai will develop GBO3 with the funding it deserves. In the meantime though, I will still recommend those interested to try out the game, as it is an experience you wont find anywhere else (if you can get a match).

Worth playing if you're a Gundam or Team V Team fan, runs very well and is intuitive. I think it's fun, but whether it will be fun for you is something you'll have to figure out for yourself.

If you're into this type of game this is the best one yet. The combat is refined and enjoyable. In my opinion it's pretty simple to learn but has significantly more complexity if you're willing to learn the mechanics. I'd highly recommend getting this game if it piques your interest at all.

Absolutely fantastic game. The only Arcade flight game on the PC market and is a blast to play. If you have any interest in flight games at all do yourself a favor and give this a try.

The reviews for this game speak for themselves, so it's hardly neccessary for someone else to pipe up about how this is one of the greatest RTS games of all time but here I am.

Dawn of War I is one of the most popular 40K video game adaptations ever created and for good reason. A wide plethora of units and attention to in universe detail mark this game out as a true labor of love from talented developers. If you are a fan of RTS games or the Warhammer 40K universe you owe it upon yourself to pick this title up, and those of you who are lukewarm on RTS's might even find that this is one you actually like.

Not without its flaws, the game suffers from a frankly awful camera height restriction that is likely due to the fact it was released in 2004 and computers of the time would struggle to render the entire map. Certain faction balance can seem abit off at times and the AI controlling the exact same faction with identical settings to a previous match can either be infinitely superior or inferior to how it was last time, which I suppose can be argued as keeping the game fresh but in reality ends up with occasionally lackluster games. Lastly, it's an old game, and if graphics are a sticking point for you then you might as well miss this title. It's not horrible in my eyes and when the matches are flowing I rarely notice the dated textures, but it's something worth noting.

If you're going to pick this up I have two pieces of advice, purchase the master collection that contains the game as well as its standalone expansions, as frankly you're going to love this game if you buy it and the collection is frequently on sale both on Steam and throughout the web. Secondly, do yourself a favor and download the highly acclaimed Ultimate Apocalypse mod for Dawn of War I. It's maintained its position amongst the higheset rated and downloaded mods on MODDB for years and with good reason, it takes the excellent framework that is this game and propels it to even further heights, fixing a number of issues with the original release (like the camera) and adding literarly hundreds of new units and great balancing or lore additions to the already rich factions, as well as adding some new ones. The most recent iteration of the mod came out in 2016, and as of this review's writing on June 3rd, 2018 it seems we are nearly another release in this ledgendary mod that will increase its quality even further.
