Classic game that's getting a well deserved engine overhaul.

As a giant fan of fallout 3, I had high hypes for fallout 4. The deep RPG and roleplaying richness in fallout 3 was very enjoyable for me. But when I got to fallout 4 I had seen these RPG elements and role playing potentional was stripped from the game and replaced with a shooter FPS with some basic RPG elements. The main character is a good guy, chosen by bethesda as they're no other potentional choices to be a "bad guy" the main story is awful, every single quest is just "go here, kill them" there is no diplomatic choices at all and all choices you are given are simply the exact same outcome.


Which is a shame, bethesda made it look pretty, run pretty, and improved the combat system by 100%. Were they simply lazy by not adding any RPG core elements, memorable npcs? Or simply making a dumbed down game to appeal too the masses, this is what I believe.
