Definitely a Zelda clone, and definitely not a bad one, either. However, the fact that the camera is in an isometric view rather than top-down that can't be (from what I can tell using a controller) rotated, combined with a rather hilly landscape means tht there will be some things that you can't see in the game. Sadly, that sometimes includes both you and hazards. Of course, that is my only real gripe, as the other controls are well-mapped (to the point that it really FEELS like Zelda), the landscape - well. seascape - itself is beautiful (tho it REALLY should have emulated Wind Waker more, IMHO. I liked sailing to my destination myself, rather than picking an island and just going there with what amounts to a minigame or five along the way), the music is nice to listen to, and the story is also good (even if I find some dialog lacking). It's a good game, don't get me wrong, but it really pales in comparison to the series that rather obviously gave the creators inspiration. Play it if you need a Zelda fix right now but don't have access to any actual Zelda games, or if you want something a LITTLE different from them.

EDIT: After doing a casual playthrough, I have disturbing news for those looking for a cheap Zelda-like experience: A liesurely stroll through the game doing a bit of exploration in optional areas gives you a 71% completion rate in just over 7 hours of playtime. I would estimate that a 100% playthrough would only take about 10 hours. Considering that is less time than an average LoZ game, I am a little disappointed. Still, it is respectable given the price. Still recommended, but know you're basically getting a truncated game in comparison to LoZ itself.
