Valve has created a new gaming category: Abandonware

Sure, lots of games are abandoned, but Valve is unique in that they continue to profit from the micro transactions in TF2 while completely ignoring the disgraceful state the game is in with the bots that have taken over and ruined it.

I love this game more than any other. I've been playing it since the Orange box. I've got 4750+ hours in it. I've competed on and run competitive teams. I've built and run websites to support the TF2 community for over a decade.

but I cannot in good faith recommend it anymore. #FixTF2

hilarious

after 4700+ hours of tf2 since 2012 and having played it prior The Era of Hats and TFC before that and even the original QuakeWorld TF.... man - this game has been a part of my life for 25 years ⊙︿⊙

i don't think anyone can write a review that captures everything there is to love about TF2. i'll just mention that i keep going back to the game and remembering how great the mechanics are and how much fun the game can still dish out after all these years. how incredible is it that after playing casual and mvm and community servers, then getting serious about the game for 2 years and playing competitive and there are still days when i learn something new see something new or laugh out loud at the inventiveness of the player base.
