Please try to add immersive animations also for installing/uninstalling explosives and for installing/uninstalling static weapons. This will perfectly complement your mod and omprove gameplay immersion
Currently running them together causes some weird unintended behaivior, e.g. character being stuck in a map animation after closing a map. Swapping weapons helps, but it's helluva annoying.
It would be great to have some compatibility patch to have the best of the both worlds.=)
Thank you!!!
Checking if player is ads and changing anim is possible but no one has done so afaik (maybe smk anims from arma 2, same guy that did arma 3 vanilla iirc)
Second fix should be an arm fatigue thing that I desperately wanted in ACE since forever.
On the topic of immersion and animations - I wanted to ask if it would be hypothetically (and technically) possible someday with current modding capabilities to have things such as:
1) Characters actually putting the weapon to their face/eyes when aiming (akin to ArmA Reforger)
2) Hipfiring animations that only happen with machine guns, (akin to Spearhead 44 MGs) because aint no way you are gonna be realistically shouldering a LMG for long periods of time.
Honestly, these two are probably the only minor "realism" things that irked on ArmA ever since the early Flashpoint engine days, lol.
It would be awesome if you could solve, with this mod, the old "Holster weapon while moving" animation problem... 😅
