@BlackSmoeDMax, thank you! 😊 I've added filtering by insect/humanlike ingredients to the new Stockpile & Ingredient filters v3.1.0, check it out. If it works well for you join the Discord and let me know. 😁 (Or leave a comment on that page.) I don't really have any testers yet!

@BlackSmokeDMax, Ya I'll be removing the meal stuff from this mod since 1.3 fixed the ingredient mixing issue. There's probably a mod out there that can let you filter by meal ingredients or something? 🤔

(I could see if that's possible to add to my Stockpile & Ingredient Filters mod maybe 😅.

Any chance this mod will get an update? Or does it still work just fine in 1.4?

I'm wanting to easily make stockpiles prioritized by meals containing human and/or insect meat separate for animal use. Maybe I'm missing the obvious though too, lol.

yeah, they won't mix meat meals and veggie meals (cuz vegetarian/carnivore precepts in ideology) and i think the same applies to cannibal or insect meals

Pretty sure RimWorld added all the meal stuff—which was the most complex part of this mod, and needed to be pulled out into its own mod—to the core game????? I only just got back.

That would make updating this mod for RimWorld 1.3 completely trivial.

Hey there; the settings-toggles for not-adding insect/cannibal meals don't seem to be working; I've got them all disabled, but they're still showing up in my stove's bill-lists / my food-restrictions tabs alongside all my other ones, causing a lot of duplication (I have both "Cannibal and Insect Meals" and "Entomophagy" installed).

I'm having an issue with the butcher bills, any that I use with the "Do Until" type makes the bills menu go blank and I get errors in the log.

@Valience, as far as I know that's a thing already, as they are indeed defined as "humanoid" and "insect" (insectoid, lol). If those races use the humanlike er... attribute? Then it's already set. I've never used custom races though so 🤷‍♂️.

I'm not sure if this has been asked, but is there some way to check if meat comes from a humanoid and will trigger the cannibal debuff without having to manually write a patch for every race out there? If so, having just an option to put Humanoid Meat (and Insect meat) into their own (sub-)categories would be something I'd be super interested in.

I fixed broken non-simple cannibal & insect meals, lol. The defs were missing plant food category. 🤦‍♂️ I couldn't include update news because I left the assembly unchanged.

Request: exempt recipes that produce kibble from the "show (insect|human) meat from other recipes" toggles.
Making tainted >meals< is something you almost never want, but making those meat types into >kibble< for animals is a normal, everyday task.

@codeoptimist thanks for the update! However, there seems to be a minor problem... if I leave "Hide human meat from other recipes" disabled, it now shows human (and humanlike) meat in every single recipe

Updated for 1.2! Didn't require any specific changes.

Fixed it so if other mods are creating these cannibal and insect meals in other ways besides my own recipes they will still work. 👍 @Rinzler0001
Fixed the bulk versions of cannibal and insect recipes. They could use any meat (oops).
Added settings (off by default) to hide human and insect ingredient from other recipes... could be a problem if other mods needs these so off by default.
Verified my fixes for other mods are all still needed and working! 👍 @JinxLuckless
(Still need to submit my patches to the actual authors. 😁)

Also was interested in these:

I was mostly interested in this mod for:

"Pause on "beginning their assault".
When a staged attack actually commences, not just appears."

Mlie may have fixed the same issues that I fixed. I'm going to have to carefully compare and analyze these. Although I aim to consolidate rather than proliferate mods I'm not going to release a mod that only combines their work.

I'm actually going to be pulling the cannibal/insect stuff out into their own mod that will fix some mod compatibility issues that you might be experiencing if another mod is creating the cannibal meals from this one but without being from "human meat". I believe it's also fixable by changing the load order... 🤔 but will be permanently fixed with my future changes.

Sorry to report another bug on the same day, but when I'm using the butcher animal bill from this mod and try to change the setting from "take to best stockpile" to "drop on floor", nothing happens. With dev mode enabled I get the following error output:

@Hun Alexander, They're different. It just so happens that a feature I originally created in this mod is much more suited for JOO, so I copied it to JOO. But yeah you'll still want JOO. Thanks for the question. I'll try to clarify it when I next update this mod.
