I'm 99% sure that mod is DirectX 11 so you're out of luck.

I'm getting black streaks which I don't get with the default rain. Perhaps related to being on a Mac?

Problems and solutions
The mod appears as updated to the latest version but I am not receiving the download:
- You can force the download by doing 'Unsub + Sub' again, you will receive the download immediately.
