if he does so, the simulation goes out of the window. The SCS rain system is not a hvy rain, but more like in the middle. The game engine does not support a heavy rain mechanics.

"Realistic rain" is perfect the way it is and works like a charm for ETS2 and ATSwith modded vehicles.

On the positive side, this mod is better than the one offered in BWGM, because you can use it with other trucks, cars and busses without it crashing on you.

Oh @长崎素世 . . . the mod works, just went in to see. I guess it is only natural to be pointing fingers with less than a thousand hours under the belt... Learn moderation people. Almost 90% of the time, if your mods don't work, the issue is either with their update compatibility, missing sub mods, wrong load orders or that the user does not have a PC to run a specific high demanding mod (just like the RPM map).

look like just my games keep crashed after the update,I already reinstall the mod,but still games crash on load screen,somebody can help?

@长崎素世: just click on "continue" in the loading screen. This should work.

If you've deinstalled the mod ('missing' warning) and the game is still crashing, it chrashes because of another mod you've installed. (i.e. if you use electronic mirrors and have an New Actros active, the game is crashing)

how can I load my saves without loading this mod? I can't load, it crashed with it. And I try to cancel the mod, but it says "missing Realistic Rain v4.8"

@Sind, if you are that smart, why don't you create one, post it on the workshop under the name temporary and let those of us, who don't have an idea how to di it or free time use the mod?

copy the 154_content folder -> paste it and change the name to 155_content, then open the sll versions file and in the last two lines change the numbers 4 to 5, save the changes and run the game, the mod works in ATS too

apart from this multi purpose mod you could use the one made by Kass (Brutal Weather creator), that has just the rain. I use that one for ATS and is rather well made, but has one downside - must be used with SCS trucks only, otherwise it crashes the game.
