semi-critical fix that also adds some yummies:


fixes crash bug with chromatic weather patterns

final correction to shortspear icon display

aether spam should hopefully cease

replaced old scifidungeon with one more ripe with threat, and a new central "boss" area with a special surprise

precursor armor should have breath protection

corrects Aether Seas applying the wrong blockable resist type for the effect. Aether-proof things should actually be aether-proof now and *treat* it as such rather than spamming you relentlessly.

* Hydroponics tubes have a new look

* somehow the spacefarer helm changes didnt get added in the last update. corrected.

* added Darkwater Coral, Live Coral , Grey Slate Stone, Dead Soil, Alien Grass, Savannah Grass, Bog Grass, Rainforest Floor, Rainforest Flowers, Lush Grass, Lab Pipe, Red Slate, Erchius Pillar, Sand Pillar, Sand Pillar 2, Reinforced Girdir, Iron Grating, Lab Panel, Lab Block, and White Meteorite tiles (Phail)

* added Flesh, Tentacle, Ice, Slime asteroids in orbits. Sadly, there is no current way to get them in space layers. 1.3 will hopefully address this shortcoming.

* dozens of small fixes

* some fixes to weapon generation issues

* corrected an ancient bug with the Ebon Block I wasn't even aware was a problem (for 3 years!)

* added some new deco and tiles from the illustrious Phail. You'll find them in various biomes. Most notable is Rainforest. Expect to see several other new tiles and deco items in the next little while.

* fixed an issue with both shadow and cosmic weapons lacking their proper swoosh effects, causing errors on those weapon types when used.

* raptoregg5 should hatch properly now

* EPP backpacks now give resistance values

* mining laser damage bonus on Mining armor suits is back into managed levels

* fixed shortspear icon display (thanks, IHart)

* nakati now extracts and xenos

* automato now extracts

* eggs now extract

* LED screen arrays should face both ways now when decorating

* Field Generator and Survival Pack both provide immunity to Electrical Storms

* updated Grabber, Terminal, Relay and Spout graphics

* minor fix to spacefarer helms so that hair isn't sticking out.

* short spear blades are better centered. this still oddly presents as off-center on the image for the spear...the in-hand seems fine. I dunno , man.

* added new rare legendary spear drop "TriStab"

* Scorchburst now has an alt fire

* Vashta Gun should properly unlock from Vasha Claws (thx, henwen)

* Alien Juice should properly unlock Kiri Fruit (thx, henwen)

* corrected some unusual critBonus behavior from new armor set bonuses

* hellfire armor should properly be immune to all heat, not just Deadly heat.

* negative Defense boost now affects Physical Resist, not just protection. This means *all* creatures will be weakened under the effect now, rather than only npcs or players and a select few monsters. This debuff is , therefore, much more dangerous now. The target gets both the protection hit *and* the resistance hit.

* adjusted numerous weapons. Mostly, I went through the list of guns at random and tinkered with damage, range, projectiles, alts...anything that felt lacking was adjusted.

* as previously mentioned, Energy Lobber has an absolutely amazing alt now!
* Pyre Vulcan is much more worthwhile
* Polaris does more damage
* Wave Gun has had its alt changed. It now acts more like a flamethrower, doing Shadow damage. This projectile inflicts defense penalties on the target (-20% protection and physical resist). The Primary attack does physical damage. This makes for a relatively nasty 1-2 punch!
* Death's Head renamed to Reaper Cannon. It's secondary has some added potency, and its primary is more rocket than bomb now, which makes it much more worthwhile, given its Heavy status
* freeze cannon sucks less

* War Angel bonuses properly apply

* moved most armors from FU located at the Anvil to the Armory. This should make things easier, as now its only Clothing Wheel/Armory to worry about for FU armors, rather than 3 other places. There are still some more to move over, though.

* Nomad armor is now found in the Armory rather than the Clothing Wheel.

* swapped most armor tooltips that were found in the Anvil, since now they can have larger ones with more room on the Armory! yay!

* one of the raptor eggs was hatching in 20 seconds through the incubator, rather than 1200. fixed.

* Harvester Beamgun upgrade recipes should now properly unlock

* testing new Protection related scaling to stop 100 protection making you indestructible.

* Pyre Vulcan got a damage buff and requires less energy (thanks, DarthMuffin)

* Corrupted armor now randomly spews out insanity causing eyeballs. These are uncontrolled and totally at random, but do damage and insanity debuff to targets

* new weather effects should no longer display messages when on your ship

* Azun Robes corrected and should now function properly
