Update: May 25, 2023 @ 3:20am

General

  • Added Slark to SafeLane Carry pool
  • Added Batrider to MidLane Core pool
  • Added Sand King, Batrider and Centaur Warrunner to OffLane Core pool
  • Added Witch Doctor to both Support pools
  • Moved Ogre Magi to OffLane Core pool
  • Position 4 heroes now buy a Pavise
  • Reworked post-laning phase behaviors; bots should now push a little more aggressively and no longer require a full team rally
  • If a lane needs to be cleared, the closest core should now more urgently want to deal with it (should help with super/mega creep waves)
  • Carries no longer only farm until they have their tailored core item; instead they will farm during alive hero disadvantages. This behavior persists until they get said item.
  • Potentially fixed an issue where bots may miss a skill point level if they gained multiple levels within the same frame
  • Multiple minor improvements and bug fixes across some heroes

Update: Apr 27, 2023 @ 4:23pm

Quick patch from last update earlier today

General

  • Bots will now be more coordinated and choose carefully when to attack their Tormentor
  • Added Faceless Void to SafeLane Carry pool
  • Additional hero ability bug fixes

Update: Apr 27, 2023 @ 12:52pm

Updated for 7.33b

General

  • Updated item recipes for 7.33b (Phylactery)
  • Added item usage for the new 7.33 items
  • MidLane Cores and Supports now buy a Blood Grenade
  • Bots now attempt to kill Tormentors. Currently only attack their own team's Tormentor when they believe it is alive. Bots will type in chat and ping the Tormentor when they are attacking it.
  • Added the remaining heroes that PhalanxBot played before 7.33
  • Added Ursa to SafeLane Carry pool
  • Fixed some logical errors that prevented bots from defending the Ancient and the 2 Ancient towers (they still abide by the numbers disadvantage rule)
  • Fixed several bugs related to hero abilities as well as reworked most of them

Update: Apr 22, 2023 @ 5:28pm

Updated for 7.33. Please keep in mind the following things:
- Limited hero pool until I can roll out fixes and changes to the rest of the heroes
- Bots will not redeem neutral tokens, and it's not possible to make them do so until the API is updated
- Bots currently do not interact with new buildings

General

  • Updated item recipes for 7.33 (bots do not use the actives on new items yet, as none of them buy those ones right now)
  • SafeLane Carries will no longer push until they have their desired core item. This item depends on the hero they are playing. Carries will still partake in nearby fights if they are confident they will win, and will defend towers if absolutely necessary.
  • Bots will now group up with each other after laning phase, unless they are defending or if they are a farming carry
  • Updated ward spots for 7.33
  • Adjusted initial item purchasing to better fit the new regen stock in 7.33 - you can still purchase regen in the hero selection screen if you don't want bots to take all of them when the game loads
  • Supports will now only share tangos if they feel someone else needs them as opposed to just giving them if they don't see any tangos in the ally's inventory

Update: Mar 4, 2023 @ 5:15pm

General

  • Bots will no longer team push lanes without a numbers advantage and/or levels advantage
  • Bots will forfeit towers if they are at a numbers disadvantage (temporarily also applies to the ancient for now... end!)
  • Arc Warden now checks for Magnetic Field modifiers before using them on allies and himself in order to avoid stacking them
  • Added Lina to SafeLane Carry pool

Update: Feb 23, 2023 @ 3:34pm

General

  • Fixed the *hopefully* remaining files that were giving Linux users issues when manually installing
  • Improved ability usage for all heroes to better help determine when to use them and making them more aggressive
  • Bots that are laning with another bot will now opportunistically harass their opponents together in efforts to make the laning stage more challenging and eventful
  • In the past, bots would send the closest core to clear lanes that needed to be pushed out if they weren't busy. On top of this, bots will now be more attentive to their assigned lanes as to not rely on 1 hero every time
  • Slightly changed all hero's starting items and in some cases their item builds (nothing has changed with role-based item purchasing)
  • Bots reverted to default retreat logic, however, it is now influenced by certain conditions in other modes

Update: Jan 14, 2023 @ 1:34pm

General

  • Potentially fixed a case-sensitive issue for Linux users when manually installing the bot script - if there are any files I missed, please let me know!

Update: Dec 10, 2022 @ 11:56am

General

  • Reinstated Crimson Guard purchasing instead of Wraith Pact for OffLane Cores
  • Added Storm Spirit to MidLane Core pool

Update: Nov 24, 2022 @ 6:37pm

General

  • Increased the range in which bots will search for enemy towers near an enemy they want to roam and gank to reduce unusually aggressive tower dives at earlier levels
  • Improved bot Laning mode to harass slightly more often
  • Added Riki to SafeLane Carry pool
  • OffLane Cores will now buy Wraith Pact instead of Crimson Guard
  • Removed Wraith Pact from Hard Support item builds

Razor
  • Updated item build

Update: Nov 15, 2022 @ 6:16pm

General

  • Reworked Hero Selection logic - bots will now take into consideration the currently picked heroes on the enemy team and avoid the top 5 heroes each hero on the enemy team counters (this is based on analytics and the file itself can be edited in the bot directory/Library/PhalanxHeroCounters). If bots have no heroes to resort to, they will pick a random hero from their role pool. With this new hero selection logic, the only playable mode is All Pick. Bots will not choose heroes in other modes as they aren't yet compatible for them, but with these changes it builds the foundation for other modes such as Captains Mode and Turbo.
  • Added functionality for some support heroes to also be chosen for their lane counterpart (i.e. some hard support heroes can play as soft support and vice versa)
  • Heroes will jungle more often based on their role (SafeLane Carries being the most likely to jungle and OffLane Cores being the least likely)
  • Soft support heroes will now buy a Force Staff or Blink Dagger instead of a glimmer cape
  • Support heroes with healing abilities will now buy a Holy Locket
  • Added Naga Siren to SafeLane Carry pool
  • Added Huskar to MidLane Core pool
  • Added Pudge to OffLane Core pool
  • Added Earthshaker and Shadow Demon to Soft Support pool
  • Added Shadow Demon to Hard Support pool
  • Multiple minor improvements to some hero ability usage
  • Fixed an issue where Shadow Shaman and Venomancer wards were searching for nearby enemies around the hero instead of the ward itself
