Changes
  • Changes have been made to the cost for Shima and merchants. These costs have been adjusted to account for changes in the Funcom economy and exchange rates. This means that costs for Shima teleports and merchants have gone up to match.
  • We have changed the icons for Gold, Silver, and Bronze coin to make them more distinct from each other
  • Changes have been made to the post processing of the snow areas in Savage Wilds to make them less dreary.

  • Savage Wilds Mountaineer journey ought to unlock properly
  • Fixed a few erronious loot-tables
  • Fixed a stuck spot near the Orkallion entrance
  • Fixed a location in the Lemurian Mausoleum where small characters could squeeze through
  • Fixed an issue where the Territory Managers for some creatures were placed too far away and making them never spawn in Singleplayer. For those of you that play singleplayer, you will notice an uptick in the amount of creatures hanging around. (Thanks to Leorik for finding a great repro-case for this!)

  • The Voidforge on Savage Wilds is now also deterministic in the same way that the Library of Esoteric Knowledge on the Exiled Lands is

  • Added the Citadel of the Lost Legion. You can enter this area from the Notch and Arrow tavern. See the special note at the bottom of these patch-notes.

Changes
  • With the changes to the purge and it's mechanics, the Convergence Trap is now a placeable storage only. We didn't want to remove it since players have already placed it.
  • Loot in the Savage Wilds have been upgraded to reflect the changes in the base game for the Age of War, Chapter 2.

Come prepared! The Lost Citadel is the greatest challenge yet to be faced on Savage Wilds! This new area is a full square kilometer filled with fierce combat for the brave, treasure for the greedy and death for the foolhearty. Can you rest within? No (building and bedrolls are not allowed), but adventure longer by harvesting and cooking food in open camp fires, repair your gear at Clan Culann's crafting benches!

Gather your friends and allies to face the Citadel together, but expect to return home alone, if at all. He who hesitates is lost, but always look before you leap!


So, what is it?
The Citadel of the Lost Legion is more than a dungeon; it's more like an open-world adventure where we wanted to present an area full of end-game content, intended to take a while to explore.

We built the Citadel of the Lost Legion with the intention of spending a lot of time in there. This meant we needed to make sure that players don't run out of food, water, or crafting opportunities. For that reason, stations and worktables are nestled within the heart of danger. Stay for prolonged periods; crafting and repairing as needed. Any crafting station you encounter inside the Citadel of the Lost Legion is accessible by players, meaning you can hunt for food and cook it while wandering outside and inside the citadel, craft and repair weapons, and so forth.

But be warned! The Citadel is unforgiving. Fall to its challenges and you will awaken at the entrance, doomed to begin again and again and again... or return to the Notch and Arrow. Your call.

  • Halloween event in Murun should no longer appear when teleporting there and the event is not actually running
  • Zath Priests are now more readily available as the Crimson Tide in the Atoll has taken up that particular religion

  • Removed the Wreck events since they insist on spawning chests below ground
  • All SW-specific creatures and bosses have had their hitpoints halved to comply with the Age of War update

Changes
  • Loot-chests that drops pearls and eldarium can now also drop Powder of Corruption. Also increased the percentage chance for them dropping for specific Darfari chests.

Known Issue
  • Modded Journeys only appears if you recreate your character. We decided to only make a single beginner journey for Savage Wilds though, so right now you're not missing out on anything significant. Once this issue is fixed, we will push out more journeys.
