National Focus

  • "Reassert Eastern Claims" (Germany) now generates 2 world tension instead of 3
  • Added "Remilitarize the Rhineland" as a separate focus for Germany when choosing the "Depose Hitler" Focus (comes with the possibility of France or England declaring war on you)
  • "Operation Weserübung" no longer requires Poland to not control Warsaw

Events
  • If Poland controls Memel (Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth for example) they will also get the Memel event
  • Split "Hitler Deposed" and "Companies demand MEFO bills payment" into two separate events

Ideas
  • "Bypassing Legislature" will now be removed when declaring war or when declared war upon
  • Economy Laws now determine your Exhaustion gain per day while at war or peace
  • Higher Conscription Laws now give a weekly penalty to Stability and War Support
  • "Collectivist Propaganda" (Soviet Union) now grants +10% to the maximum surrender limit

Equipment
  • Reduced Naval Targeting and Naval Attack for all Kamikaze-eligible Aircraft
  • Strat Bombers are the only exception; they will do roughly 10% better against ships
  • Balanced CAS and NAV Equipment, the former is more accurate, the latter does more damage
  • Lowered the Effectiveness in Anti-Ship-Warfare of all Naval Bombers by 25-33%
  • Lowered the Cost of Transport Planes to 120
  • Nerfed Modern Tanks, they now behave like 1945 Mediums (they're still better than Medium Tank 3 but they won't obliterate every other tank variant)

Decisions
  • "Announce a state of War with the USA" (Germany) now requires Italy and Japan to be at war with the US as well (otherwise the content of the speech wouldn't make sense)

Traits
  • Added a 10% Bonus for Production Efficiency Growth to the "Armaments Organizer" Trait
  • Added a 5% Base Bonus for starting Efficiency of a Production Line to the "Armaments Organizer" Trait

AI
  • Added modifiers in case Germany remilitarizes the Rhineland after deposing Hitler (increased chance to go to war)

Localisation
  • Adjusted country names and event texts for the mentioned changes to "Reassert Eastern Claims"
  • Adjusted other localisation concerning new events/possibilites
  • Adjusted some decision names for convenience
  • Fixed spelling mistakes that PDX or I didn't notice

Future plans
  • Expansion of the tech tree (post Man the Guns)
  • States (the demand is too damn high!)
  • more focus trees (Scandinavia, Soviet Union, Middle East) (Most likely Post Man the Guns)

Decisions

  • reworked "Legislature" Decision into a mission like MEFO Bills
How it now works
  • it is activated by a 150PP decision ("Assume Control of the Legislature")
  • it runs 180 days
  • it has 4 stages to it each stage increases the total amount of PP that is deducted when it runs out by 80 (for 320 total)
  • each stage slightly increases the penalty to Ideology Drift Defence and increases the cost of improving Relations with other countries
  • it can only be extended 4 times; each time adding 80PP to the "debt" (after 2 years max you have to pay)
  • fixed "Install Head of State" (England), now gives a proper leader

Ideas
  • "Workers Culture" (Soviet Collectivist Propaganda Branch) now grants +10% max factories in a state

Localisation
  • more text added and rewritten

GFX
  • fixed a bug which removed the "impassable" Icon

Hotfix

Decisions

  • added penalties to "Hand over Legislative"
  • Ideology drift defence -40%
  • Improve Relationship Cost +20%

The former simulates foreign propaganda to target these laws (mainly Multiplayer related stuff)
The latter simulates the problem of "improving relations with other countries" when you're stripping your own governments of rights.

  • lowered stability requirement for democracies
  • increased stability requirement for other ideologies

Obviously I didn't do the math here, 100PP (Decision) + 112PP (Law) wouldn't add up to an effective choice.

Removed 1939 Start Date for Singleplayer and Multiplayer because of incompatibility with Expert AI.
I did not do this because I really wanted to strip the player of options on how to play the game, but I do want
everyone to have the best possible experience. The AI templates etc. are all optimized for the 1936 start, especially
the way the construction AI works.

Decisions

  • changed some remove triggers for "Support Loyalists in [country]", will finally work as intended
  • you can now core territories during wartime (again)
  • removed "Allow/Ban Elections" and "Call for Emergency Election" since the former makes no sense to ever pick and the latter is already in the game through the "Hold National Referendum" Decision
  • added decisions for canada so they can gain all resources from "Supply the Empire" when choosing the focus "Patriation" (you cannot combine both)
  • added "Abuse Legislative" which reduces economy, mobilization and conscription laws costs by 25% for 360 days.
  • lowered cost for "Use Construction Battalions" to 75PP and added a minor CP deduction

AI
  • removed some incompatible files (affects peace conferences in a minor way)

Buildings
  • lowered cost for building a Spy University to 4600 (from 8000)
  • air bases will now only cost 750 per additional level (previously same as base cost; 1250)
  • radar stations will now be 2625 per additional level (instead of the base cost; 3335)
  • removed the dummy building added by EAI from the interface
  • added a warning to the EAI dummy building as it cannot be hidden as of now

National Focus
  • added a focus for Canada that unlocks resource prospecting decisions
  • reduced the stabilty, war support and popularity reduction for "Defeat in Africa" (Italy) by 50%

Defines
  • increased maximum shore bombardment penalty to -40% (up from -25%)

Localisation
  • fixed some minor inconveniences
  • added missing tooltips
  • added a description for all decision categories

UI
  • added some names to the credits (mainly people responsible for all included mods and me)
  • added "SUPER-HEAVY" text to the armour tech tree (for convenience)

Music
  • added "Firestorm"
  • added "Reign of Terror"
  • changed some triggers, many songs now only trigger within their historical context


To-do for the next update
  • add more decisions to give you political power.
