- Increased randomness of GC starting planets (less Prakith)
- Moved some planets to better locations to reduce overlap
- AI should no longer build factories on planets with infantry/airspeeder-only access
- Fixed incorrect fighter complements on Nebula and MC80 Independence
- AAC-1 now has correct research prerequistes
- Zsinj now has proper abilities at high levels
- Minor text updates
- B1 and B2 droids can now capture landing zones etc
- Removed empty shield bars from QH-7a Chariot LAV

Release patch

- Ground unit research now shows blueprint style icons and upgrades only show changed stats, in line with space
- Ground units now show their Manufacturers in tooltips
- New Shock Trooper model
- Droid infantry now have infantry icons
- OG-9 Homing Spider Droid now has a death animation
- X7 factories no longer provide income
- All infantry now have faction-coloured icons when owned by a particular faction
- Allegiance-class autofire script added
- Enemy AI faction forces now scaled by difficulty in random GCs
- Minor text fixes
- Tech tree visuals clean up
- Removed Pirate Ambush mission until it can be fixed

Patch

- 149 planet sandbox campaign with randomly generated starting forces added. Good luck!
- Reduced strength of random starting forces for Independents
- Fixed Hajen/MTC trying to repair units smaller than Freighter class
- AI adjustment to hopefully improve fleet compositions
- Fixed bugs with Skyhook Rebel campaign- now displays Death Star build location when the mission to find it is complete
- Reverted red trade routes for CSA to prevent random ones appearing
- Fixed Nial Declann's ISD being saleable

Patch

- Multiple new land maps added courtesy of Thrawn's Revenge team
- High-ranked starfighter heroes improved. They will now have an escorting squadron as well as the ability to attach to large ships properly
- SecForce troopers now have unique model set
- Added terrain-based visuals for SpecForce Rangers
- Most dropships now fire their weapons at neaby targets
- Airspeeder maneuvrability greatly increased, speeds rescaled
- Land unit turrets should now acquire targets more readily
- Fleet tenders now use repair drones spawned in a radius around them to repair allied ships
- Random GC spawns are now tech-based for playable factions
- Ground turrets buffed (generally 3x HP, some faction differences: Bp.2 is now a repeating blaster instead of AoE blaster; Empire gets the Bp.6 instead of Bp.5 AA gun, which fires flak missiles; Rebel DF.9 has a more powerful blaster cannon)
- Grenade launcher accuracy doubled
- New land mine models
- Most ground infantry now have weapon models
- Fixed unit ability autofire for many units
- LAAT now has a shield (200 SP 10%)

- AI now spawn with 5 planets in random GCs to help their offensive
- Neutron Star Mk III and up now target at their turbolaser range properly
- Couple of independent CIS-leftover ships now show their complements
- Spawns in random GCs tweaked a little (fewer big freighters, fewer Recusants for CSA)
