The Pacific War - Kokoda Trail Campaign

Description
Content and Setting:
10 mission campaign taking on the role as a Australian soldier during the Kokoda Trail Campaign in New Guinea in the Pacific during World War 2.
Includes animations, voices, music and various sounds. Mission times are between 20 to 45 minutes. Singleplayer and COOP for 1-15 players. Enemy presence and placement are in many places random, so mission difficulty throughout the campaign can vary from mission to mission and each playthrough. Not a completely historical representation of the events, some more and some less, but fictional/plausable missions set in the historical context.

In early 1942, the Japanese commenced operations to capture Port Moresby in New Guinea, just north of Australia, with the intention of isolating Australia from its US allies. Initially, their plans centred upon launching a seaborne invasion, however, defeat in the Battle of the Coral Sea forced the Japanese high command to re-evaluate and a plan to secure the strategic port via a landing by ground troops on the northern coast, followed by an advance on foot over the Owen Stanley Ranges was formulated. This plan would necessitate traversing the Kokoda Track (or Trail), a 96-kilometre (60 mi) jungle track that snaked south from Owers' Corner to Kokoda through thickly vegetated foothills that rose steeply towards heavily rainforested mountains as high as 7,000 feet (2,100 m), and passing through a highly malarial environment where heat and humidity and terrain were as much an enemy as defending soldiers.

Notes:
*Have not tested this in COOP or on Dedicated. Let me know if you something is bugged and I will fix it.
*Yes the AI will revive, 90% of the time. Sometimes they are to heavily engaged in combat and on rare occasions it's simply Arma and they refuse.
*There is autosave, but save yourself from time to time.
*The terrain, especially the rocky parts, can sometimes be a issue for the ai squad members. Bypass the most steep terrain or take 1 or 2 with you. If they are stuck, consider them to have fallen ill or something else. Changing formation or behaviour or a move order often helps to get them moving.
*Respawn on remaining AI in group in Coop.
*Check the keybindings for Improved Melee System.
*Using the Tactical Combat Link - (TypeX) AI script. Don't know the effect if you use another AI script with this one, so better not.

How to use:
Singleplayer: Subscribe and load this mod and the other required mods in the launcher and the campaign will show up under campaigns.
Multiplayer Coop: Load this mod and the other required mods in the launcher and host a MP session. Choose the map Kokoda Trail, which is included in the Faces of War mod, and the missions will appear.

this campaign has great suspense, and the atmosphere is excellent. I'd love to see more pacific theatre campaigns in the future!

use Eliteness from Mikero's Dos Tools to Decrypt all the mission.sqm files, then do some edit manually. I've actually made some changes to these campaigns to be played with ACE medical.

done mission 10. all mission's work. i just turned the music down in arma3 setting befor i started

on mission 7. a guy needs to think out the box to do some mission. the terrain is hard on my AI's. i have like 16 mod's loaded .dont like the way i jump using Improved Melee System wish i didnt need that mod. ill do some testing diff mods when i start over after im done

music needs to be on the music channel so I can turn it down. At the moment the music is on the fx channel. So I cannot turn it down

So far loving the campaign. Though AI often gets stuck that on the elevated terrain that they can't really keep up.

Also for "4. Battle of Brigade Hill", the assault never seems to end. About 6x "autosaves" later with renewed Japanese attacks, it becomes a slaughter fest and my team slowly dies off. Doesn't seem to trigger an end for it. Had to cheat end it. :steamsad:
