Opt in the beta

(increases mod limit and prevents some crashes)

In your Steam library find Darkest Dungeon
Right click->Properties
Click the "BETAS" tab
Click the pulldown
Select the Beta.
Close the window.

Command-Line Exceptions to add:

Go to your Steam Library
Right click -> Properties on Darkest Dungeon
Click the "GENERAL" tab
Click "Set Launch Options"

Add:
-skipfeflowintro
(removes intro videos)

-disable_monster_pre_loading
(fixes a lot of the monster loading issues by not loading them all at the start)
(add a very tiny delay but reduces crashing significantly)

Ex: Adding both would appear like this in the text box with just a space between them.
-disable_monster_pre_loading -skipfeflowintro

Small balance friendly exceptions

A spider monster mod that can be fairly strong at times.
A very strong invading boss from Dark Souls.
A monster adding mod that adds a few spell based trinkets.
A few dungeons.
An expanded item carrying inventory to fit the few dungeons that are 2-4x the size of a regular dungeon. (These dungeons are fairly difficult. See screenshot section below)
You can try adding the Fallen Heroes mod in, but you would probably need additional trinkets or classes or anything to make your team stronger.
I could win, but the sheer size of the dungeons on top of fighting extremely strong fallen hero parties, usually exhausted your heroes making them survive, but most likely unable to get anywhere near completing the dungeon.

50% Longer Dungeons Mod

You might not want to enable this mod until later in game when you can control stress and/or not without a mod that increases provisions from the mission setup store due to how big the dungeons will become.

Inventory Expansion Mod

Included as a possible solution, there is an Inventory Expansion Mod that increases the inventory to 32 slots with a patch that allows for 4 trinkets to be equipped. It is mandatory that the Inventory Expansion MOAR TRINKETS patch be above the Inventory expansion mod for it to work correctly.

You can also use
Trinket Slots - 5 + Inventory Slots - 24 (Triple Stacked)
as another alternative.

Items Stack More Mod

This has been included to simplify storing items especially to go along with the 50% larger dungeon mod , spider mods, and crimson court mods in my other DLC modlist. It stacks items in single slot much higher because your inventory will easily fill without it, if you decide to do one of the hour long dungeon runs. Without it, you wouldn't be able to carry around 70% of your earned dungeon loot.

Clair's Journal Compatibility Fix

This is a simple mod that prevents issues with journal compatibility in mods such as Marvin Seo's mods, Koala's Creature Collection, and Scarlet Ruins. This mod allows ANY mod to include journals without having to worry about making sure the journal numbers line up in order. It also allows you to uninstall any of these mods without causing issues with your saves.

This mod should be placed at the BOTTOM of your load order in order to not overwrite journals from mods while still fixing compatibility/uninstall issues. This mod works in all languages.

The rest is pretty much skins, which I think are sfw and other quality of life changes.
There are no added classes or class changes.

Crashes/Issues

The only crash I've come across is with the Miniboss: King Baldwin mod.
King Baldwin's avenge attack is currently bugged.

(Gk) Erasels has a fix by doing a small text file edit:
Navigate to your steam install folder:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\1905111513\raid\ai
Open anti_collection.monster_brains.json which is the AI logic commands for King Baldwin.
replacing all mentions of lepking_avenge with another skill in his list (intimidate works)
Ex: lepking_avenge becomes lepking_intimidate
He should then cast the new skill (intimidate) instead of avenge and no longer crash the game.

Dimensional Havoc Endless Loop Issue

Mods that summon friendly enemies like Summon Gargoyle on enemy kill seem to corrupt the spawn sequence of enemies and cause the dimensional void to just endlessly attack you and never spawn more enemies.
At least it did for me when no enemies were left and it triggered the summon on the last enemy alive when it died.
Otherwise it's fine. So just avoid using those items for that fight.
