I've always wanted a fence mod ever since I made a dining room next to the sea. It had an open section serving coffee. A place for my colonist to take the morning sip before doing their daily work. However, the lack of fence or a form of railing made the place look quite odd. I even used plant pots to compensate but it was never appealing.

Time skip to a couple of months: I decided that I've had enough with compensations and instead make my own solution. And thus, Vanilla Fences was born.

This mod gives 8 fences of different types (mostly wood) that has a vanilla-like texture. All of them, except Closeboard and Brick fence (tall), can let temperature and bullets pass through. Another thing to note is that they are all impassible buildings, meaning you can't climb over them--unless you change it in the mod settings.

I recommend using Dub's Paint Shop to make it less dull.

Fun fact: you can use the Bar fence as a cell railing. Temperature passes through it while still making it a room.

Q1: Why aren't there any fence gates for Brick?
A1: Stone gates just felt weird, plus, the wooden ones works just fine with them—except for the Brick fence (short).

Q2: Save game compatible?
A2: Yes, from what I've tested.

That occurs due to the fence being Standable or PassThrough. I just used the base program of doors on it, which is the reason why it happens.

Overhaul for the mod should be close. March 30 was my intended time, but due to some unforeseen texture problems, I might move around April 5.
