RPG Overhaul Specialization Pack - Akimbo

Description
FEATURES
Converts Akimbo Class to the Musashi's RPG Overhaul.

This mod adds two RPGO specializations: Gun Fu and Scrapper. They have a slightly different perk layout than in the Akimbo Class itself.

Many of the new perks do not require using Dual Pistols, and should work just fine in combination with perks from other specializations.

Compatible with Random Classes and Weapon Restrictions second wave options.

Dual Weapon Specialization perk will be granted to the soldier automatically when you learn at least one perk from either of the specializations, or if you get one of these specializations when using Commander's Choice / Spec Roulette / Random Classes.

GUN FU SPECIALIZATION

Gun Fu is a blazing firestorm created by a constant barrage of shots from its dual pistols.

Trick Shot
A special dual pistol shot against a target in cover. Ignores cover bonuses and has +40% Crit Chance, but deals damage only from the mainhand weapon.

Leg Shot
A special dual pistol shot that will reduce enemy mobility, and potentially immobilize them. Deals half damage and cannot crit. Mobility reduction lasts 1 turn.

Bullet Time
Pistol Shot, Trick Shot, Leg Shot, Checkmate and Fan Fire no longer end turn.

Gun Kata
Replaces Overwatch. Grants twice as many Overwatch Action Points, and allows Overwatch Action Points to be used to avoid enemy attacks.
Does not require Dual Pistols.
Mutually exclusive with Ever Vigilant.

Spinning Reload
Replaces normal Reload. Reloads your weapons and grants an Overwatch Action Point. Additionally, this ability passively enables the soldier to spend Overwatch Action Points on automatic reloads during enemy turn.
Does not require Dual Pistols.

Quicksilver
Overwatch, Pistol Overwatch and Gun Kata will no longer end turn. Additionally, reaction shots have +20 Aim.
Does not require Dual Pistols.

Checkmate
A special mainhand shot that deals 100% bonus damage (300% when using dual pistols) to a stunned, unconscious or panicked enemy at close range. Always hits and crits.
Does not require Dual Pistols.

SCRAPPER SPECIALIZATION

Scrapper uses backhand grip of their dual pistols to unleash a flurry of surprise melee attacks.

Pistol Whip
Move to an enemy and strike with both weapons, dealing normal damage. Pistol Whip does not end turn if the enemy is already in the melee range.

Trigger Guard
Gain passive +20 Aim bonus to ALL melee attacks while dual wielding firearms.

Dirty Kick
Move to an enemy and kick them in a vulnerable spot. If hits, stuns for 3 actions.
Does not require Dual Pistols.

Electrified Spikes
While dual wielding firearms, repeat melee attacks against the same target have a 75% chance to disorient. Melee attacks against disoriented enemies have a 75% chance to stun. Additionally, melee attacks against disoriented or stunned enemies will Shred 1 armor for each hit.

Take Initiative
After attacking an enemy with Pistol Whip, immediately trigger an additional dual melee reaction attack against every enemy in melee range, including the original target. Each enemy can trigger one dual melee attack from Take Initiative or CQC Supremacy per turn.

CQC Supremacy
Free dual melee attacks against enemies moving or attempting action in melee range. Each enemy can trigger one dual melee attack from CQC Supremacy or Take Initiative per turn.[/b]

Limit Break
Allows the soldier to break the shackles of human mind and gain perfect control of the body. Gain unlimited actions until the end of turn. Each action after the 4th will make the soldier take immediate damage, equal to 10% of maximum Health. Each action after the 5th will have an increasing chance to render the soldier unconscious. While Limit Break is active, any damage taken from other sources is delayed until the beginning of next turn and amplified by 25%. Can be used once per mission.
Does not require Dual Pistols.

just ignore the errpr message, it just works fine with the BETA primaries

@[FK] MikeyRyu - You can't use both versions together. As Iridar said, you should use TPS.

@scroller I have both

@iridar, especially while I'm using RPGO? I'll take your word for it, here goes nothing

You want to be using True Primary Secondaries.
Scroller Feb 19 @ 10:05am
@[FK] MikeyRyu - Which "primary secondary mods" are you referring to?
[FK] MikeyRyu Feb 19 @ 10:01am
trying to use this with RPGO makes RPGO yell at me saying the primary secondary mods conflict with each other, anyone know if there's a work around if any or just risk RPGO bugging out?

Thanks for your answer guys!
I think I have pretty much all the rpgo spec availanle on steam then I'l take a look at how to create mine to incorporate them in rpgo, doesn't look that hard

> But how am I supposed to know if I add some "perk packs" from some creators here on steam , if it will add trees / specializations in the menu?

Generally perk packs do not add RPGO specializations. The purpose of a perk pack is to provide perks for other mods. Like you can have an RPGO specialization mod that will add some perks from a perk pack, but perk packs adding RPGO specializations on their own aren't really a thing.

> approximately how many RPGO specializations are on the steam workshop as far as now ?

I have no idea, haven't played with RPGO for years.
Scroller Aug 2, 2024 @ 10:07am
@Vitor Builds - Youtube - Perk Packs on their own will not likely add specialisations to RPGO. To add new specialisations, you either need to track them down on Steam (most have a mod image similar to the one for Akimbo) or you would need to mod new specialisations yourself.

@Iridar
