Old World Blues

War, war never changes.

Old World Blues is a total overhaul for Hearts of Iron IV: starting in the year 2275 and set in the Fallout universe. Experience the postapocalypse like never before with a dynamic war system that ensures that the AI nations act on their own, respond to aggression, and strike when their opponents are weak. Forty seven national focus trees—ten of which are generic—keep the game exciting as numerous powers contest in a battle to control the Wasteland. With the use of “Historic Focuses”, you get to decide the path famous Fallout factions took, directing generic nations, and changing history as you see fit.

Old World Blues is the definitive Fallout experience for Hearts of Iron IV, a total overhaul that uses its expansive list of changes to make the game a truly new and unforgettable experience. With over three years of development time and glowing reviews across the board, we assure you; you’re in good hands here. Welcome to the wasteland, friend.

@malx Sounds like a bug from your other mod, as resistance works fine in OWB.
@biri go into the files and delete the mod folder
that'll most likely work every time (and it doesn't delete the mods from the launcher, when you boot it up again theyre all still there) Delete the mod manifest json file in your paradox interactive/hearts of iron iv folder in the documents folder

Is anyone else encountering an issue with the ai being completely unable to suppress resistance? I'm using another mod that adds a ton of stuff on top of OWB, and I'm trying to figure out if this issue is the result of that mod, or if its a current bug with OWB.

@Fried Yes, it works fine in multi. The discord, on good days, has games with over 10+ concurrent players.

Does this mod work in multi? Because everytime we want to connect to eachothers game (only OWB and its Radio) it tells us that it failed to connect.

@Poozer No. Theres a section in the pipboy about the tech levels, but only a select few can advance tech levels.
@Misfit unsub from mod -> launch your game -> close your game -> resub to mod -> wait for download -> launch your game

is there a way to make the ncr or any other factions research advance tech ?
