Parking Lot Street

Have your parking lots always felt kind of dead? No cars driving around inside them and no people walking around the rows of cars? Or the lots looked a little disproportionate (too much "aisle" to parking space ratio). Well, I have a solution.

This is basically a 1 unit wide version of the plain street from the Network Extension mod. I felt that the plain street was too wide to use in parking lots, so I created this. It is a 2 way street with sidewalks.

I know that the zoning grid does not line up [see 1st picture]. There is nothing I can do about that - it is a game limitation - and honestly, for what I created this for, it doesn't matter. As a work around to place things, I suggest using a 1 unit wide road from Network Extensions and then upgrading to this road.

Hope y'all enjoy this, for those that want it. I'll be realeasing some of my bigger parking lot projects and working on some new ones now that I have this road to use.

V2: I have updated the pavement width on the road and it seems to have fixed the problem I was having with the z-fighting and the sidewalks not aligning at interesections.

@Maximilian maybe you should take a look at to update your description... i think it will have a correct aligned grid with it... and next hint: Using Node Controller enable 'No junction Markings at only that roads Node to get rid of the bright part at the connection...

Does this create a stop sign at intersections?

this is my favorite "nothing" road. I love that it has no props and no markings. I use it everywhere. Thank you for this. :highlvl:

If so, for parkings needed just 5 meter single strip. Cars usually go on markings, so one-way (possibly two way) 8-class road. Technial narrow sidewalks still exists.
