Description
Makes all transitions in the Avenger instant + other time savers. Creates a much smoother experience, particularly on lower framerates.

UPDATED TO SUPPORT WAR OF THE CHOSEN!
For a version that doesn't require War of the Chosen, see here

Changes:
  • All transitions between rooms on the Avengers are now instant
  • Hologlobe dissolve animation has been removed
  • Drastically reduced pauses during Avatar Project updates
  • Instant customization of units, making pre-mission loadout screens much snappier

Fully compatible with Stop Wasting My Time.

I recently decided to try lowering the Avatar Pause setting to 0 for the first time (in a new campaign - setting was changed prior to the avatar project being revealed), if for no other reason than to see exactly what it did.

It caused the game to get stuck showing the Avenger on the map with the 'red alert' screen filter still flickering in the corners, still showing the little animations on the geoscape, but the process of adding the first couple of points to the doom tracker wouldn't complete. I couldn't return to the ant farm and no points of interest were showing so I didn't have the option of trying to travel. It was effectively a lock-up, requiring a restart. I actually tried it multiple times and found it to be very repeatable.

Moral of the story (at least for my game): don't lower the Avatar Pause setting to 0. I'll leave it at the default setting of 0.33 where it works just fine.

Well, this stopped working for me two, did the full reset suggested by Dragon but still broken.
I noticed this seems to "break" the exact time I collect some loot left behind by a enemy that just died, and coincidently enough I'm also using Instant Loot (WOTC), and that mod also seems to not be working anymore.
Either it's just a coincidence that this mod stops working the moment I grab some loot, or there's some conflict between them right now.

Yes, that didn't help either. I remember similar mod stopped working back when i played XCOM2 without DLCs, so i just kinda got used to it. Geoscape entry animation is still the worst thing though.

Have a read of those guides and try deleting Firaxis config files from your My Games folder.

SWMT doesn't seem to work either. So basically same as for @AleXsiMuS. I wonder if there's a file of a folder we could make 'read-only' to prevent mods from disabling.

I redownloaded all the mods and verified game cache, it worked for a day but then stopped again.
I'm only using this, SWMT, Evac All and Overwatch All mods, so there shouldn't be a conflict, i guess?
