Instant Avenger Menus - WotC

Quality of Life / UI Improvements - WotC
20 items
Makes all transitions in the Avenger instant + other time savers. Creates a much smoother experience, particularly on lower framerates.

For a version that doesn't require War of the Chosen, see here

  • All transitions between rooms on the Avengers are now instant
  • Hologlobe dissolve animation has been removed
  • Drastically reduced pauses during Avatar Project updates
  • Instant customization of units, making pre-mission loadout screens much snappier

Fully compatible with Stop Wasting My Time.

Supports Mod Config Menu!

Classes Overridden (why do I care?):
  • (non-essential) XComGameReplicationInfo.uc
  • (essential) XComHQPresentationLayer.uc

Thanks to IphStich for writing most of the original version.
Thanks to Robojumper for fixing the annoying skyranger lift sound bug.

The source code for all my mods can be found on GitHub[github.com]

I think only the hologlobe is the one not working for me (for some reason)

Do i have to start a new campaign for this mod to work?
I have subscribed and loaded up a game and it doesnt seem to work. Do i have to do something else other than just subscribe here?

Though certainly the geoscape is slow without this mod running.
Sharur Mar 15 @ 8:21pm
The issue isn't that the geoscape is slow, the issue is that I have to completely quit out of the game when the Avatar Project progress ticks because it cannot progress. Any control is locked out and the game just sits on the geoscope without doing anything.

Because the mod launcher doesn't pick up every conflict. And if you google people having troubles, slow geoscape is normally number 1.
Sharur Mar 15 @ 6:35pm
Why does "no conflicts" make it sound more like a mod conflict?
=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil Mar 13 @ 2:47pm
Then it sounds even more like a mod conflict somewhere
Sharur Mar 13 @ 10:39am
I do use the launcher. There are no conflicts. My mod list is huge, though most of my mods are soldier cosmetics and voice packs.

Try using the "community alternate launcher". It should show mod conflicts.
