Description
Elevators for bridge and overpasses

The title is self-explanatory; this is a collection of elevators which can carry passengers to bridge and overpasses.

Check screenshots to have an idea.

What does it do ?

1. It is a FUNCTIONAL elevator which you can use as:

a. Simple elevator to carry people from ground to bridge or overpass.
b. Use it to create connection between a bridge or ground or sunken place.

2. It fonctions as a park, with actual values. When you place it, it gives a small bonus of happiness, since your pedestrians are happy with easy underground passage, instead of waiting on crossroads.

CONTAINS

6 elevators of which height of the path varies 9 to 37 meters:

*9M
*12M
*17M
*25M
*32M
*37M

Placing the asset

* You will need to enable road anarchy to plop it.
* Once it's plopped, connect each end to roads that you want to connect to.
* Use traffic manager mod of your choice to disable cars and other wheeled vehicles from using the elevator, it looks awkward.

NEXT2 has been updated as of 2022-02-24.

Additionally, Replace Our Networks will substitute the missing nets with Cylis's NEXT2-inspired roads or Delta 5-1's Vanilla+ Roads. Not sure why I have both a "pedestrian overpass" and "elevators" but that could be me.

@REV0, cc: @LemonsterOG - I have a set of these updated locally with @cylis 's NEXT2-inspired Roads. Now, @singledigit (spelling?) has made an appearance but IIRC the asset still needs to be swapped to the new mod (also, I feel like a mod is more likely to break with C:S mainline patches? Won't work as an "asset" either for ppl who require that). Would you like me to send them to you on discord somewhere, or would you mind if I uploaded my own version using these assets? Since I use Zoning Adjuster, using the dependency is not an option for me. (and it's a godsend)

This buggy road is flat and does not show steep ramps to the side of the road

@juan.torres2411 -- Are you subscribed to all the dependencies?

If not, make sure you are.

If so, try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the dependencies and this.

Is this broken? They were working fine and now they failed to load.

At @LemonsterOG, yeah those roads from Cyclis are great, been using them alongside Vanilla+ as a replacement for NExt 2.

Thanks for your work REV0. Adds so much to the game and the community.

@REV0 -- Here are brand new NExt2 replacement roads. @cylis did a GREAT job recreating them!

I've yet to receive any viable alternative. The easiest example is the message of Lemonster for instance. They proposed a road network but if you click the link, that road is now gone. I dont like to rely on road networks of other people for this exact reason and NEXT was made by a group of people known in the community.

An alternative would be republishing these without roads so people can drag whatever they want, or you'll wait for me to make my own proper elevated overpass roads so I'll make sure some random creator wont yeet their roads I had relied on to make a pack, only to break them X months later.

Any chance NExt2 could be replaced on these wonderful assets?

Thanks for your consideration.
LemonsterOG Jun 7, 2021 @ 10:29am
@REV0 -- Is there anyway you would consider updating this asset to replace the currently required Zonable Pedestrian Stone Tiny Road from Network Extensions 2 (NExt2) with the 1U Flagstone Road as the replacement? It's 98% identical and would eliminate the need for the NExt2 mod.

NExt2 not only has conflicts with some other mods now, the roads themselves aren't really road assets, because the mod creates them. This means that the Loading Screen Mod provides no benefits to sharing textures, materials or meshes, thus using more RAM and potentially lowering performance (fps) for some players.

Thank you for your consideration.
