Description
MOD ID: 1091147617

Craft rustic structures, old west decor, and storage for your stable, ranch, barn, western towns, or equestrian base!

100% Stackable mod.

When using a structure mod ALWAYS make sure to check that the mod folder and the .mod file are correctly installed after updating your server or single player game. If your server or SP game starts without a sturcture mod installed correctly you could lose all of those structure pieces. In that case you would need to rollback your save file. All of my mods are tested on my own server before updates become public.

If you need help with a rollback you can find a tutorial here: ARK Rollback Tutorial

110+ Structure Pieces to build your own stables!
(Structures are Low Poly, Scorched Earth Friendly, Paintable, and Texture Swapping)

By having low poly building pieces you can create large or multiple structures with less load put on your client or server.

The number of polys used to create a mesh is key in optimization. The less triangles that there are, the less the GPU has to process each frame. It will also improve performance due to physics collisions and calculations. Textures can help provide a higher quality looking piece without adding to the poly count.

Texture Swapping!

Hold E on 50+ Structure Pieces to choose been Wood or Brick textures. Painted pieces can now also have the dye removed by Holding E and selecting the menu option.

To build into the terrain you will need to disable collision check in your server game.ini or in your singleplayer options.

For easy instructions on how to do this follow this No Collision Tutorial

Missing items?
If you updated the mod and are missing items then your install is probably corrupt. You must follow the instructions specifically for your server host.

Can't place items or find the Crafting Table engram?
If you can't place an item from this mod then your server probably hasn't updated with the latest version. If you can't find the engram make sure the mod is copied over to the server completely and the mod ID is listed under active mods.

Please consider adding a single gate and frame and add gate frames that have no top section (posts only)

@chief thats exactly what I'm looking for is an option for someone like myself who runs a stream oriented ark server with one large tribe to be able to create a larger trough feeding area for the many dinos that the folks who watch the stream tame rather than using the S+ trough.

@dayneh

The extended range troughs?

There are several already included into mods like S+, SS and I even have my own. There are several stand alone trough mods.

eco has a vision for her mods and doesn't want to include in hers what others have.
I am only trying to say, there are other alternatives already to troughs with extended range you are free to use. Until she decides to modify hers, we will wait until she decides to include that. It's not that she's keeping anything from us. She is keeping her mods stable and less buggy by altering things that are know to cause issues. Again, you can always craft multiple of hers to cover your needs without any adverse effects

Update: Jan 20 @ 12:24pm
Adjustments:
Stable Decor Items can no longer be placed on platforms, platform sadles, or rafts.

Uh why was this done?
dayneh Apr 2 @ 12:00pm
Some people do preferred them
Chief Apr 2 @ 11:13am
Modded food troughs that have extended ranges are known to block resources. Even the S+ option you gave.
So if you are asking about does the game have that option, no. You cannot extend the range yourself. You can build multiple ones
Are you asking eco to add that option to this mod?
It would be an ini entry under an eco type of header in gus. But adding ini options is something that is not preferred

@eco is there a method for extending the range of the feeding trough through the gameusersettings.ini or game.ini?

Something like this? FeedingTroughAdditionalRangeInFoundations=35

@123 Ah yes sorry about that. I was aware of that but haven't done any changes either way.

I found this post if it can help you :

The v295.107 update that just went out includes an optional structure memory optimization that I'm recommending people leave disabled if they're running with structure mods.
Essentially, it prevents duplicating the snap point data to every instance of a given structure type.
We did add a check box to structures that can be checked to opt out of the optimization bPerInstanceSnapPoints that should be checked on any mod structure that alters snap points at runtime or has its snap points accessed through blueprint. (Once it makes it to the devkit checking that on any such structures in a mod would make it compatible with the optimization (using -structurememopts))

It's a feature added by wildcard for optmize memory used by servers.

https://ark.fandom.com/wiki/295.108

But this feature can break snappoints on some mods.

Some mods developper tell if his mods was compatible with this command line. (like @ExileAcid with Castles, Keeps, and Forts: Remastered for exemple)

Thank You
