Great concept, poor execution. Overall a good souls-like but could be so much better. Also never have i had a worse taste left in my mouth from a final boss. Go play/replay the souls series.

This game is massive and feels amazing. The landscape is beautiful, the bosses are amazing, the lore is deep. Going back and playing the souls series after this makes me only appreciate it more.

Playing this after DS1, DS3, and Elden Ring is hard. It feels janky and uninspired at times, and some game mechanics are definitely questionable. Beyond that though is a good story and that satisfaction of overcoming a difficult challenge.
