It's not a bad game, it can even be fun at times. Definitively something you can complete in a single day if you're really motivated.

Basic features, and even some that give you huge advantages, are locked behind DLCs. Unless you're willing to fork over the cash, you're outta luck.

For example, aerial supply runs are disabled unless you have a certain DLC. So if you have a bunch of troops that are encircled, and they don't have a port near, you can wave them goodbye.
