First week I owned this game I pumped in 31 hours, most of which solo. Friends make this game A LOT more enjoyable but the grind is fun even in solo. The progression is very well paced an rewarding, incredibly charming game!

fun game with friends, solo sucks bc there's no guarantee everyone else is solo, whereas you can toggle allowing parties of 3. Needs more maps lmao. bought it for half price during a sale, very happy, probably wouldn't buy for full price but opinion might change later on if I stay entertained long enough :D

People talk ♥♥♥♥ about ds2 but imo it's better than the first one, for what it's worth, the people I know who talk ♥♥♥♥ are usually the ones who didn't play or finish ds2. One of the big arguments people use is that ds2 has bad/easy bosses, but the same can be said for ds1, I enjoyed about 8 ds1 bosses, the rest being mostly bad/extremely easy with some middling ones. The other one is bad mechanics, which idk man I don't have any trouble with mechanics, except the chests breaking, but that's not game breaking. Incredible graphics and soundtrack, having a blast :)
