Undead Labs, probably at the request of Xbox Game Studios, decided to make the game require online activation which relies on having to create yet another account for yet another service.

I refuse, on a moral basis, to do this.

Why do companies keep offering a better experience to pirates? I paid for this, let me play my game!

Fantastic game for the deck, fun and simple.

This is the kind of game only the Japanese can do. Lots of big monsters to shoot at, very fun.

Fun little game with neat not-so-little tech :)

Only thing it needs is that long anticipated set of tools to not give me carpal tunnel when I am building a 1:1 scale recreation of venice. I know some mods do this, the UX is not as good as if the game itself were to include such features by default.

Real, actual GOTY material.

As a game designer, I often preach that games should be simulations where great, unique-feeling and impactful experiences can occur. But this game manages that without it being a simulation, it is as if 10,000 DnD Dungeon Masters decided to think of every possibility (or at least 98% of them) and just write them out. This is a fantastic experience, and in the end, that is all that matters, having a bloody ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great experience.

Everyone - regardless of who you are and what kind of games you like - should play this game.
It is physically impossible not to be charmed by this game.

The game ended unexpectedly after what felt like a short period of time, and yet it felt thoroughly enjoyable.

Can't really recommend the game. Finished the first level (with enough points to unlock the next mission) and... nothing.

On top of that, you get penalized for killing someone that is holding a weapon.
Screaming "get down" does not do anything, the "warning shot" system that the game talks about does not exist (it actually just makes baddies shoot at you!) and so there is little point to trying to be a pacifist with those who wanna kill you.

I feel like the game treats murder too harshly, real US police would have been given a raise for a proper kill streak like that one.

In less than 30 hours I managed to finish the game and a great deal of the side-quests.
The game is well worth the 15 USD I paid for it.

The writing itself is as good as new vegas. However, the amount of options provided to the player is sub-par.
Overall a good, if short and agency-less experience.

My first time experience:

> Join server
> Asked to enable mic
> Set mic to voice activated local
> Someone tells a joke
> Laugh
> Get votekicked for "micspam"

10/10 I wish I had friends.

So far, this game pales in comparison with warband.
Why would you play a version that has better graphics but worse everything else? Heck we wont even be seeing any cool mods for a while either.

Keep your cash for a few years. Be patient.
