Anyone who had an amazing child hood remembers Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Nintendo Wii. Brawlhalla recreates that atmosphere in a more modern sense. Because it is free to play there will be a vast range of players from around the world and match making works like a charm irregardless of where you live.

The Blue Mammoth Games Developers are always hard at work and there is a great team of them pushing out weekly patches and dev streams where they connect with their players for their input.

The ranked system is enjoyable and rewarding but it can become easily frustrating at times. A big portion of the ranked community are toxic which can somtimes make the game unplayable. If you find yourself feeling heated after a battle you just need to take a break to cool off, then come back later when you aren't feeling like you want to stick your hand through your moniter.

Other than the higher-than-average-salty-community, Brawlhalla is a great game. It is most enjoyable when you have a group of friends to play with so you can host your own custom games without the need to interract with the online community.
