Well, despite his very careful wording in his statement, Garry made it clear that the workshop is a hostile place to independent artists, animators, and folks making their own fan content. Obviously the copypasta is taking an extreme position based on the current DCMA notice, but it's pretty much what Garry was saying but without all the polite language he used in his announcement. I'm really angry that this DCMA, legitimate or not, is being bowed down to, and want everyone else to be as angry about this garbage as I am. So the comments are just to make people more mad about what's happening and drum up more outrage about it on the Workshop
