Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a standalone-expansion/DLC/techincally-its-own-game to Dishonored 2. While you cold play this without playing Dishonored 2, I would advise that you do pickup D2 first, as this game feels definitely less like its own game and more of an expansion on D2. That is, it expands upon and experiments with the gameplay presented in Dishonored 2.

The story, as with most Dishonored games, is just OK. Mainly just a drive for gameplay, not really something that grips you.

Gameplay is excellent as always: more Dishonored, but with some new powers and gadgets to make it more interesting. For example, your primary movement power, Displace, allows you to place a marker that you can teleport to as long as you have line of sight. This combines very well with the other power Foresight, which lets you float around the world in stopped time and place a Displace marker on the other side of a fence, for example. Also added is the Hook Mine, which pulls any enemies in range towards it (either lethally or non-lethally), and is great for stealth. There's also a new non-lethal Hyperbaric Grenade, which upon detonation knocks out everyone in its radius and sends them flying.

As always, the most fun you can have with Dishonored games is experimenting. Maybe you could open that door by throwing a grenade to hit the button. Maybe you could shoot one of two guys looking at eachother so he doesn't notice his friend getting his throat cut. The more you imagine and experiment (and the less you stick to one routine for every enemy), the more fun you'll have. Overall 8/10 great Dishonored game and video game.

One of the absolutely best VR games I've ever played. The movement system, the sheer sense of scale and awesomeness you get from looking at the enemies, I love it all. 10/10 would recommend, however this is a HIGHLY intense VR game. You have been warned.[/b]

An enthralling look into the development of Half-Life: Alyx, and all the other going-ons at Valve Software over the past 10+ years. You'll know if this is for you

Great game! Plenty of developer and player made content to get lost in, plus a very in depth set of game making tools (like Dreams but a bit more limited). I have 1500+ hours on this across PlayStation, Steam, and Oculus, and I'm looking forward to spending even more!

Disclaimer: I only refunded the game because I wanted to give it a shot and get my money back.

Currently, this is the best zombie survival experience in VR. If you want to feel like a scavenger hiding from the walkers, this is for you. The immersion is incredible. You can enable voice activity in game so enemies can hear you, and there's nothing better than shouting "Hey chucklenuts!" at a zombie, seeing them look over at you, then bashing them in the head with a baseball bat.

Some people complain about enemies respawning once you get more than 15 metres away, and while it can poke immersion a little bit, it's there to keep you on your toes. This is a zombie survival game, where's the challenge if all the zombies are gone.

In summary, if you have doubts about whether this is a good game, buy it and set a timer for 2 hours, like I did, and see what you think by the end of it. I hope you won't regret it.

Also if you're gonna ask for help in a Steam review make sure to turn on comments.

If you're looking for a fun, replayable, multiplayer shooter, look no further than Contractors. I've had more fun with 5 minutes of this than I have in my 40-something hours in Pavlov. The gun handling is top notch, with all of the weapons feeling and sounding as real as they can. You may see some of the older reviews that don't recommend because of the lower player count, but the recent release of the game on Quest/2 has give the player count a nice bump! I can easily find a bunch of servers with at least 4/10 players, making it pretty easy to hop into a game!

Currently, it's not *really* worth full price, so if you just want a multiplayer VR shooter to hop into every now and then, I'd suggest waiting for a sale. Then, you might end up with some friends to play with, and that's where the real fun starts!
