This game was great time and I loved every minute of it. I had a ton a fun with the gameplay swapping between survival horror and action but I wasn't a fan of how they did NG+. It's extremely annoying to load up a brand new game+ having to pick up every single thing again as Grace and buying all your guns/upgrades as Leon when it should've just been how they did it with the older games where you just get to keep all your stuff in the new playthrough. I get how they probably didn't want the game to be bomb rushed so they make you do all the bullshiet but it's just a real pain in the ass and I really wish they don't do that for the next game Capcom drops (please RE5 remake I beg). For story, It was very interesting they decided to go with an extinction theme and I think they did a pretty good job tying it together especially with the flashbacks and easter eggs. So many truth nukes were dropped and the experience was awesome re-visiting Raccoon City again. For the characters, Grace felt refreshing to play as she wasn't anything special but a normal girl with a twist in the nightmarish hell of the RE world and it felt great kicking ass as Leon at his prime with his jokes on strap. And not forgetting to mention Sherry was also cool to see again but I wish they gave her more spotlight on how she was dealing with the mutated T-Virus. Overall, this game is a 10/10 in my book and I highly recommend people to play RE2/3 Remake before starting up 9!
