The balance of this game definitely leaves a bit to be desired, and there are a few bugs that need cleaning up, but honestly the game is such a goofy, fun romp that it's (in my opinion) really easy to look past that and focus on the engaging killer design, wonderful graphics, and all the things that the art team for this game have put their heart and soul into (seriously, this game looks awesome). Can't wait to see what else FNtastic have in store.

This game definitely deserved the hype it got. It's a mostly dumb fun party game that as long as you're playing with friends you can have fun. Seems like it's a tad boring playing solo, but other than that it's creative and fun.

The only good battle royal out right now. 3 hrs on here but like 235 hrs on Origin. Good characters, good abilities, good guns, and the new map is the best one yet. Overall would highly recommend if you wanna get into a battle royal.

It's been a month since I played this game, and somehow it's more popular now than it ever has been. I understand, more than most, why this game may be perceived as enjoyable. When you get really good at it, it's satisfying. But it's hard to recommend this game to my friends in good conscience. The game is a bug-filled mess, patch after patch. No matter how many fixes they make, new, sometimes worse bugs always appear, and often these bugs can be game breaking, ultimately making playing a certain killer or using a certain perk pointless. The community is a toxic mess, and is an obvious case where the bad heavily outshines the good players. Half the killers in in this are either ridiculously overpowered, or worthless in nearly every scenario, with BHVR only putting out reworks once every blue moon. The grind in this game, if you're a completionist like me, is genuinely unbearable. I've sunk a month and a half of my life into this game, and I'm not even half way done maxing out every character.

Trust me, it's easy to sink hours upon hours into this game at first. I did too. But looking back on it, I kinda wish I'd put these hours into a game like Apex or Valorant (two other games I love). If you get this game just to ♥♥♥♥ around with friends and be an asshat, by all means, go ahead. But don't buy this game expecting a fair, balanced, bug-free, kind game to be coming your way.

EDIT : I've played about 200 more hours of this game as I type this, and I'm changing my recommendation, but only loosely. If you're the kind of person that likes the repetitive gameplay loops of games like destiny, then maybe I'd recommend this game. If you're someone who needs variation and constant new content to have fun, maybe pass on this one.

EDIT 2 : Sadako Rising just dropped and I'm honestly unsure of whether to still recommend the game or not. It's gotten to the point where yes, the chapters are cool, the characters are awesome and aesthetically the game is on point. But the bugs and questionable balance changes are CONSTANT, and despite having an extremely active twitter presence they're one of the most tone deaf dev companies I've ever heard of. Constantly ignoring what people want, and then with the NFT ♥♥♥♥ with Pinhead I just don't know anymore man.

Rust

Great game, mostly solid mechanics, just watch out for the toxic community. I'm bein serious when I say every other game there's some toxic dude just making things annoying on either time, so just ignore them and play the game. Would recommend!

Personally I got the base game for free, then bought all the operators that I wanted (all of em) after the fact, but I would've definitely bought the base game myself had I known how fun it could be!
