A game best described by the sensation of relief you get after managing to crawl back half-alive from the wilderness.

More intense fights, closer calls, and better chances to embark on the one run to rule them all.

The different types of weapons, builds, gunfeel, combat arenas, area presentation and endgame difficulty are about as good as its going to get in this series.

Just a shame everything else absolutely sucks about this game.

Honestly suprised the community hasn't come together to make a mod that mutes/skips as much dialogue or scripting as possible yet, or even a mod that just removes characters from the game entirely and just give a waypoint from A to B. While I enjoy the combat systems in the game I don't feel that 30 seconds of fighting is worth getting a double dose of inner ear cancer thanks to listening to the writing in this game.

An amazing game that didn't have enough microtransactions so EA left it to die as an IP.

Paying money to make a game better after its been out for a while is kind of stupid, but it does tweak quite a few things to make it feel more in line with a proper souls game.

I'll recommend it, just wait for a sale.

If you enjoy romps in strange locations with helpful items scattered around and an occasional heart attack from some nightmare fuel entity spawning in and deciding its time for you to die then this is the game for you.

The gameplay is alright once you get past the 400 billion unskippable cutscenes
