I have been a strong Fallout fan since Fallout 3 and i have to say that overall Fallout 4 was a disappointing game compared to is predecessors. Not to say it was a bad game but i just did not get the same enjoyment out of like I did in Fallout 3 and Fallout NV. May contain SPOILERS.

Pros:
> You finally have a voice for your character.
> Base building
> Wide varity of weapons and modifications for the weapons.
> Somewhat of a graphic improvment from predecessors.
> Dogmeat
> Addition of 'legendary' weapons.
> Always have some sort of mission to do (thanks Preston Harvey).
> Multiple choices for story endings but its pretty much the same result at the end of the day.
> New power armor system.

Cons:
> DLC feels lazy compared to some of the DLC from NV and Fallout 3 (with the exception of the Nuka World DLC).
> most Special/Unique weapons and armor do not FEEL Special/Unique. Most of the time you can make an exact replica of a special/unique weapons by adding the approprite modifications at a workbench.
> Certain areas of the game can have major frame drops.
> Radio station have pretty much all of the same songs from previous Fallouts.
> Building Limits with base building.
> Preston Harvey
> Paid mods??

Overall I do recommend the game. Many of the Negative points of this game can be fixed with the free mods. I think my biggest issue is the DLC. I just could not get into most of the DLCs so can not recommend getting the season pass but instead individually purchasing DLC that look interesting to you. If you can pick this game up for $30 - $35 then you have a solid deal.

Despite side scrollers being one of my least favorite kinds of games I could not stop playing this game and im glad that I took the chance and purchased it.

PROS:
>Takes a different path by showing the perspective of the people effected by the war rather then the perpective of the people fighting the war and this in my opinion makes it stand out from all the other games in a very good way.
>Has multiple characters and game settings that can help design a playthrough thats perfect for the player.
>An amazing workshop thats allows you to design your own characters and playthroughs as well as trying other peoples characters and playthroughs.
>Has ok DLC (a bit overpriced) but some of the money used to buy it will go towards a good cause (see DLC for more details).
>Perfect graphics and audio that really set the different moods that are experienced throughout the game.
>Overall simple but good controlls except for one thing (see cons)
>Provides a good challenge by trying to balance the survivors moods and basic human needs (food, wamth, sleep, ect.).

CONS:
>Combat in my opinion was a bit clunky and could have been done it a better way.
>Events within the places you scavange are not randomized so youll see the same events and loot every playthrough.

Overall I highly recommend this game especially if you can get it at a discount price.

While this game got some backlash for going "YOSE" I still feel like this game is worth the money especially since you get all of its DLC.

Pros:
>For a game that was put out in a rush, its a very unique game that accomplishes what other game could not.
>Large map with TONS of lootable buildings, camp sites, ect. Its safe to say that 99% of the buildings are lootable.
>Fun and dynamic base building with several choices to where you can set up your base.
>Has a good mix of challenging and relaxing moments.
>You can play as any suvivor you rescue or meet.
>has a good mix of different types of missions so your not always doing the same thing.
>Has a huge varity of guns (uses the names of real guns) and melee weapons along with many types of ammo, grenades, food/snacks, vehicles, and distraction items.
>Fun DLC that adds many more hours of gameplay.
>Has replay Value

Cons:
>The game still has bugs but none that i found were unbearable.
>Zombies keep respawning in looting areas despite already killing them.
>Has a cap on what can fit in storage but iv only hit it once and im a huge pack rat.
>Cant keep playing after you finish the main story missions.
>Have to reset the game every time you want to switch to DLC.
>No multiplayer (although State of Decay 2 is fixing that - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FB4fFl-Ysg8 -)

By far the best f2p game on Steam. Go ahead and download it its worth a shot. Here is a short pros/cons list.

Pros:
>Almost everything can be earned just by playing the game.
>Mercs/Loadouts are reasonably priced.
>Well Paced action that fells refreshing.
>Regular in-game events that keep you coming back.
>Overall a fun game to play.

Cons:
>Lack of game modes
>Lack of maps
>Terrible team balancing system.

The Borderlands series in general have made a huge impact in my gaming life and Borderlands 2 in no exception. I have put many hours into all three Borderlands games (but not on PC) and Borderlands 2 is by far the best one in my opinion. It has a healthy mix serious and comedic moments to always keep you engaged in the main story and its tons of side quests.

Pros:
>Tons of replay value especially if you aim to get all of the legendary and pearlescent gear.
>If your the type of person that likes to sit back, relax, and and do some farming to get awesome and rare gear then this game is for you, but please dont think that farming is the only thing about this game.
>DLC for this game is nothing short of amazing. They add countless more hours of gameplay and are worth every penny.
>Charecters are made well so there will always be a character that will fit your play style.
>Still has a living online community.

Cons:
>The game is a bit repetitive in the fact that each playthrough is exactly the same, so if you want get your character to max level in an efficient manner then you will have to playthrough the game about two or three times, but its not so bad.
>Although the online community still exists, be aware that some players have a cheat menu that can ruin your game experince.
>If you never played the fist Borderlands then you cant appreciant some of the in-game characters, but is not crucial to understanding the main story.
>Graphics are a bit like.....Borderlands graphics.

Overall I highly recommend this game, there is very little in this game that can dissapoint.

This DLC had so much potential but is ruined by a stupid things that could have easily been added in or fixed. I recommend you save your money and go spend it on Fallout Shelter because it has everything thats in this DLC plus more.

>Has a short and rewardless missions that are boring and make little sense.
>Greatly limits building potential because of the building limits, but can be fixed with a simple limitless building mod.
>Adds only one new unique Weapon/clothing (from what i have found).
>Experiments are limited due to the amount of devices you can build for each experiment.
>No replay value, after you build your vault there is not much else you can do with it.

Overall its a great dissapointment. On the surface it might seem cool to be able to build your own underground vault (no pun intended), but once you get into it and finish the missions your left with sadness.

I highly recommend this game. It has such a unique storyline that i have never seen in any other game before and keeps you interested the whole time by throwing twists and choices into the game that effect how your game can pan out (adding replay value). Controls can be a bit wonky in some situations but provides a good challenge to the game. This game is no doubt worth every penny especially if your getting it on sale or in a bundle.

My review was originally positive because despite the game being in early access the devs were making an obvious effort to improve the game. I can no longer recommend it. The devs make infrequent announcement about the state of the game and i cant even remember the last time this game was updated or even patched. The game is clearly dead. Don't waste your money or time.

If anything changes ill update my review again but i find it unlikely.

Great childhood game that is worth every penny. Due to a bug that will make your game crash, make sure you plug something into the microphone outlet before you start the game.
