I would recommend this game! It is an early access game, and it has come a long way from the way it was at first. There are many good mods too, and that makes the game even better! It has its faults like every game out there, and the only negative is the number of servers. I play modded PVE/PVP mostly, and wish there were more servers to choose from. The way that the devs has set the servers up, i do understand why there is not that many servers to play on. You need at a minimum 5x5 servers (in my opinion), so you would have to rent 25!! servers! That is impossible for most players! But other than that, its a really good game!

This was one of my absolute favourite games!!!!
When they announced the upcoming updates of the game i was exited to say the least.
I fell in love with this game as soon as i played it, and keep coming back to it. In my group
of friends Conan Exiles has been one of the few games in our "permanent rotation" category.
I have all the DLC packs, and have recommended the game to everyone of my gaming friends
and family. I loved how the DLC was a "themed pack" With both building stuff, clothes and more,
and was always hoping for more to come!!

However, it feels like Funcom is slow and falls behind in several ways!
After this much time has passed since release they should have been able to correct bugs and
cracks in the game before starting re-writing stuff that actually worked and ignore/screw up bugs
and stuff that did not work even worse.

Long after battle passes in games has earned the very deserved hate from players around the
globe, Funcom decides in a drunk state during their yearly christmas work-party to hop aboard
the ever hated and abandoned ancient "battle pass train" going fast to no where!!

Funcom now sells single building pieces, a "bundle" of 3-4 building pieces, one petskin/bundle with 3 petskins, one set of armour skin or a single/set of 2-3 weaponskin or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EMOTE for
the same price as a complete DLC!

EXAMPLE:
99 NOK (norwegian krone)
(= 1200 cc -Crom Coins, ingame currency. DLC not buyable for cc in game bazaar!)
DLC - Architects of Argos Pack:

49 new and exclusive building pieces
Ornate pieces including beautiful vaulted ceilings
18 new and elegant placeables
Decorate your base with classical statues and fountains
3 new mount saddles
Equip your horse with the Argossean Warhorse saddle
15 new armor pieces in three sets, such as the Phalanx armor
Light, medium and heavy sets with an epic end-game version of each
9 new weapons in the Argossean set

At the in game store - The Bazaar, you can buy a battle pass for 1200 CC, same price as
most of the DLC packs.
For 3020 cc (249,15 NOK), now on "discount" for 2114 cc (174,41 NOK) you can now get :
2 furniture pieces, 1 outfit and a armour set.

There is around 7 different offers in the bazaar, that sits there for a week or so and most of
these items has since the beginning been on a claimed "discount" even tho it has never
been sold for the "full price" before. And to top that off, the offers have a timer on them!
FOMO driven in deed!

There is an endless list of things that has been added or changed that ruins this game as a
whole. The best example of this has to be the changes in the fighting mechanics!!
This is now more or less useless!! They even changed the way the camera moves while fighting. Before the big DUCK-up the camera moved with the character, and the character and faced the enemy when you turned towards them, but now the camera view moves independently of the character.
This was in my personal case one of the reasons i loved the game, and i know i am not alone in that.
I truly HATE when character and camera move independently of each other.
This completely ruined the game for me!

When Funcom sell 4 items for the price of 2,5 DLC packs, i understand that this whole thing
was and is all a dumb and poorly planned action made by some intoxicated, money hungry,
respect-less and greedy monkeys trying to milk their players for as much money as possible
while they slowly killing of the game...

And i did have a high hope that this would go back/be fixed when Funcom realised the mistake and saw how the player base reacted negatively to their "fixing" of the game.
So i stayed loyal and played for the first 3 rounds of changes, but now when the 4th round
came around i was done giving Funcom my money and time.

I have yet to see anyone that are happy with these changes that has played the game since the beginning. I am not hateful towards changes in general and understand that things needs to be
tested, new bugs will appear, changes need adjustments and that things may not work as intended.

However, to not take any of the feedback seriously and by choosing to do changes to stuff that
works based on... i don't even know by this point.... really...

FUNCOM - Why do you change things what works while ignoring the bugs and known problems?
And to top that off, your "changes" added more bugs which you then cover up rather than fix,
and with even more unnecessary changes to mechanics that worked beautifully until you decided to DUCK it up beyond hope, instead of just hiring someone who knows how to fix bugs in the code.

NoFuncom - Stay off the bottle, and do not make important or big decisions while intoxicated!!

I will never forgive NoFuncom for destroying Conan exiles for me.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!! I played 3 of the beta weekends, and decided to wait for the release of the game. I have a 3080, i11900 and i get fps dropps down to 10-20 fps within 10 minutes of the game! I have not even started building anything. After all that feedback from the beta-weekends, nothing has changed! The game is not even optimized??! What the ****? Did they even read one of the feedbacks? The game is even worse now then when i left it. There is no gamma options, and it is pitch black when i go in to the trees or in to a base! cant see anything inside, and i know i was not the onlyone having that issue during the beta. I refuse to ruin my screen settings for one game! I can NOT recommend this game at all.

I had alot of hopes for this game, and was hoping for weeks that the buggs and everything would be fixed before the release, but i see that nothing has been fixed. Instead they just added alot of new stuff, and totally ignored all the feedback. God job guys!

AWESOME!

Everyone should get this game!! So much fun. It does not hold your hand, and does not give you everything for free. THIS is the kind of survival game everyone should play. If you want the PVP, get all your friends to join you. I support this game a 100%.
Cant wait to see where this goes from now on =)

I love how you have to work hard to get everything, and the fact that nothing comes for free. The animals and NPC's are not too hard to take down, but gives you a real fight when you are new to the game. I do wish there was more places without the rad, but it gives you a chance of getting something before you die =)

WARNING!!! HACKERS! Stupid kids that are unable to play the game as normal gamers!

I really hate it when people have to ruin everything for us normal players that wants to play the game, and don't have tiny balls and have to hide behind hacks! If you SUCK at the game, GTFO! Shame that steam and devs only care about the money, and not how players enjoy the game they made....


it sucks! ♥♥♥♥♥♥ crap game with so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate it! WASTE of both time and money!

Love it! The game has so much good stuff i don't even know where to start. First of all - MANY solarsystems to visit! Each with their own sets of planets and moons in them, Races to get to know, languages to learn, missions of many different kinds, upgrades to both you, your ships and other vehicles.... And sooo much more! it is insane!

The game has its down sides too. The tings i tend to hate the most are the small bugs. Witch i think the devs should prioritize- ASAP! The game is so big, that you never meet other players outside the Anomaly. But they have made it easy for you to play with your friends, witch i like. The most annoying bugs are for example when you play with your friends and you are both at the same time inside a spacestation, all the NPC ships become HUGE! This blocks your way around the station or worst case - it trows you out in space! The same kind of bug happend when you invite a friend on to your freighter.. so my best recommendation is to save! EVERY time you have done something!

Fighting pirates, killing monsters, saving people- the family business!

Hype!

Alot of problems with the game, but fun if and when it works!
